New Girl Season 3 is coming out on DVD this Tuesday.

Still no Blu-ray announced, and as there has been no Blu release for previous seasons, there probably will not be a blu anytime soon.

Can't believe I'm buying this for 1 episode...

Sometimes I question being a completist, but I am, so, y'know.

Well, since you bothered to do that, you could have at least posted your findings.

Are they gonna have that one at Best Buy tomorrow? Or Amazon? Is it $14.99 or less?

If so, I'm down!

Otherwise, I don't mind having a season for just one episode.

Regardless, I will NOT be watching the rest of the season...

Watched the episode again and fast forwarded through everything else.

There are deleted scenes from the Prince episode, but, they didn't feature Prince.

Prince not featured in ANY bonus features, episode only.

Decent question...

I think, for me at least, being a completist collector is an impulse I've had since I started collecting as a kid. Then it was comic books and action figures, especially Star Wars.

As for my Prince collection, it's been an evolution. I became a fan in '82 when I heard and saw videos for 1999 & then Little Red Corvette. My collection started with the the 1999 album on cassette in '83, followed by Dirty Mind, Controversy & Prince the same year. At that point I had begun collecting the albums. Before long I wanted every B-Side & Extended Version. Followed by wanting every associated artist release. Then bootlegs, videos, etc. Now I'm even trying to collect all the single edits, something I used to have little interest in.

So yeah, I have an impulse to collect and an impulse to complete collections and my Prince collection is the one I have continued for the longest and enjoyed the most, so, there you have it.

Besides, I LOVED the episode. Prince and the characters reactions to him were hilarious.

Well worth adding to the collection for a mere $15.

The show however is not my cup of tea and any episodes that don't feature Prince are not something I'll be wasting my time with.

If the single episode disc that Neversin mentioned had been an option I probably would have bought it instead of the season. Since it wasn't an available, I have a 3 disc set for 22 min of entertainment. I'm cool with that.

That HDTV rip is good enough for me
