We all know celebs do photo-ops, promos, etc. for their famous peers but which famous people are actually bonafide friends with Prince and have been through all the years? Anyone?

Not sure, I haven't heard much recent buzz about that.

Honestly, I don't think Prince has many real friends celebrity or otherwise. I reckon he's a very lonely man indeed.

I think I misread that when I first replied. I thought you wrote "Larry" instead of Lenny (Kravitz, I assume). Yeah I think they (Lenny & Prince) are still friends.

They have met, oddly enough.

I actually met him once - at Chaka Khan's birthday party in London. She had just been on my TV show and invited me to her do. It was at the time when Prince had "Slave" mysteriously written in big letters on the side of his face in felt-tip. Downstairs, divas were cater-wauling like demons on heat. Upstairs, Prince and I were talking about the funk over a pint and a Pernod. Guess who drank what!? He was a very intelligent man and had so much energy. Still has.
