4 CD's would be cheap. I sure hope there's gonna be more!

There r 2 songs on The Unexpected, that hardly counts as a "CD", it's more like those flying tracks released/streamed online.

I highly doubt a 4-CD Purple Rain set, though I would absolutely love it. If the PR plaques are indeed a clue, maybe it's PLEC, AOA and 2-CD PR set?

There r 2 songs on The Unexpected, that hardly counts as a "CD", it's more like those flying tracks released/streamed online.

But he produced the whole album, didn't he?

I thought it was an interesting choice considering he talks about not living in the past. I don't feel like the number is significant considering PR went more than 4 times platinum.

Have you seen his comments to Andre 3000 about Hits though? Kind of goes back on what he says in that statement

The albums on the cover are behind him, so maybe that means that in his mind they are also "behind him"?

I also think (barring any delays) it's cool to have nods to both Purple Rain (remaster) and 3rdEyeGirl (glasses) on this cover. 3 albums releases in one year -- even one being a remaster -- is the kind of thing that younger Prince was fighting for.

I actually did a few minutes after making this post. I thought that was a very strange comment, coming from him, but maybe he's starting to get it. Perhaps there aren't as many "yes men" this time around.

Makes sense.. Prince is a genius and also a little maddening in the way that he can't do anything straight forward. Everything has to mean something else. Or, maybe it's just our need to pick him apart? lol Interesting either way.
