Your fav Prince album, Single cover artwork Sorry if this has already been discussed, but back in the day before downloading and CD's the album and single covers were part of the experience for me and am happy they seem to be making a comback on vinyl. What are peoples fav's of Prince?

Overall I find The ones I like the most? Without thinking too much about it I'd say ATWIAD, Parade, SOTT, Batman, D&P (blue cover), Exodus, TGE, Rave, TRC, Mplsound and the 2 Madhouse albums. I think Prince's covers are pretty cool all in all.
I like the album covers for Purple Rain, Lovesexy, Graffiti Bridge and The Gold Experience.
I'm not really keen on the album covers from his more recent releases. I dont really like the whole 'photoshopped/photo edited' look, if i can explain it in that way? And the cover for 20ten wasnt up my street either.
I like the single covers for New Power Generation, Thieves in the temple, Gett off, Letitgo and The Most beautiful girl in the world. Prince's '90s single covers were a lot stronger than his '80s single covers imo.

I kind of agree, they are not really stuff to look at very often. I'd pick Around The World In A Day & Rasperry Beret as best after looking at that collage posted above. | |

For You, moreso the inlay with the bed in space pic than the proper cover, tho that's cool, too. 2010 was interesting. Absolutely Madhouse's 8 (maneca lightner!!!), Ice Cream Castle, the Glamorous Life...
