Well I was already weird without him; but WITH him especially now that I tell people that Im a fan hes kinda made me even MORE weirder to the public eye. I think we are the same kind of weird. I awkwardly understand his rudeneaa cause I myself am quite defiant. And that puts a bad taste in peoplea mouth. I'm just starting to feel comfortable in my skin & I owe some of that to him, things have been working in my favor so I cant complain. smile In other aords I probably be the same yet slightly different.

The same.

I never write like he writes, nor dress like he dresses.

My musical taste might be a little more limited. I guess, thinking back, listening to him made it "ok" to venture out of the sterotype. That was his biggest appeal to me way back when.

Yep. I'd have more free time fo' sho'. Less org, more book reading.

In life at large, I'd probably be much less knowledgable about music, including my interest in other acts and other genres.

Only a short time of school left for me...My college report card is gonna look terrible if I keep spending time on the org. Anyway, I would probably not know what real music is without P. Yanno, the instruments and all...I would still be weird though

Ah, the sand dollar. lol

I've never really picked up anything from Prince. But I did meet my wife at one of his concerts, so right now my life would be very different if I hadn't discovered Prince.

RIP sad

Well, I'd have possibly never KNOWN that we DON'T let society tell us how it's supposed to be. And I must be unafraid to speak TRUTH to POWER to ANY downtown, nowhere bound, narrow-minded drag...WHOMEVER...HE may be! geek

probably still a mopey goth.

Mind you, I still am a mopey goth. A mopey goth that has a wider range of musical taste than before.

I'd be a much sadder person. Not only has his music done my soul good, I have met some absolutely wonderful people because of him. I am grateful.

I'd be like all the other ignorant a-holes out there that think Prince is gay and hasn't released a song in decades. Thankfully I discovered him in the 80's, so I am 3 decades into be ing a-hole free, for the most part.

Actually, I would be the same person I was before. Just a little more sane. But seriously, he did show me a new world and aspect of music to where I can discern whats truly good music and what is not.

Great thread!

.

I have NO IDEA, honest, but I'd probably be quite a different person. As explained in that other thread about how prince impacted us, the dude had quite an important influence on many aspects of my life.
