Even if everything you state happens you do realize that this will not affect Prince's career whatsover? As long as Prince continues to sellout and get paid top $$$ for live shows.... I guess you can say that he can afford to fail? and more importantly fans outside of Prince.org could not care less? Maybe that's whats so frustrating more than Prince himself.

True but as historically proven, all good things tend to and do come to an end. So I most sincerely do hope that he's saving and investing all that money VERY WISELY.

He's been a millionaire for a little longer than you and me, we trust he'll know how to stay that way somehow.

I have little doubt that because Prince HAS invested the money he made from the Musicology tour wisely, that's why he's been doing basically what he wants the last 10 years.

Of course, he still needs to pay those property taxes like the rest of us!

Because we fear him and want his approval.

.

I didn't know Welton and Ford were married, how 1900s/blessed for them.

.

Speaking of famz http://www.inojmusicartis...media.html is an interesting read. So tempted to call lol (this is jamie starr), apparently Welton's brother Clarence is some sort of guru (SHOCKER) and his site is kinda funny as its littered with Princeaganda and 3rd Eye images but rarely mentions the folks in any of the text.

.

Apparently he does Artist Development (who doesn't), maybe he should advise himself to get a better looking website.

.

They are fond of congratulating each other on Twitter for just about everything.

.

I thought it was one-hit wonder INOJ (also very 1900s), but they posted some lovely feedback about how good Plectrum is. Maybe this guy should advise someone to release it.

"I con" is about right. lol Am I supposed to believe there was any sort of live instrumentation involved in this track (song is too strong a word)? Why is Hannah "drumming" along? Why are there people with guitars and what not running around? Sounds like Holmes made this on a mobile app, and the video should look like it. twocents The MJ riffing is just extra comedy. lol

I haven't heard anything from Prince's 3rdeyegirl tracks that makes me remotely interested in this release.

And, so far, I haven't been all that keen on the supposed solo album leak either. shrug

Hasn't it been a year and a half since all of this silly 3EG nonsense started?

Honest to God, this is just getting dumb. Have we EVER gone this long between releases? I don't think so. 2010 came out over four fucking years ago. Prince was promoting this thing on Kimmel and Arsenio in January and February. Any momentum he may have gained is fizzled.

Quoting myself here because this beyond the pale at this point. For the first time in my life, being a Prince fan is fucking BORING. Say what you will about the quality of the material he realeased in the 2000's, at least he RELEASED it. This is just god damned stupid.

Yes its the most boring time to be a Prince fan cuz things goes very slow now, but since Prince makes most money from touring then I get the feeling that its not so important for him to put out any new albums. Its all about money for Prince these days

Many artists take 4 years (or sometimes more) to release new albums. You guys are just spoiled. If you're that bored, there are plenty of other musicians out there to occupy your time with no?

Change it one more time..

But those other artists didn't quit their labels specifically so they could release music quickly and as often as they want to... Prince led us to expect more than one album per year, not years between albums.

^In the 18 years since leaving Warners, Prince has released a hell of a lot more music than he did while he was under contract to them. Much of that music was heavily vilified by fans. I'm sure the fact his hardcore followers seem to dislike much of the new music he releases these days plays heavily into his decision to release material more infrequently.

You know what I heard, from a PP source?

Prince plans to secretly switch the second disc of the Purple Rain remaster (which would contain Electric Intercourse and never-heard-before tracks such as Applesauce, Minnesota Nice & Wazooks) for the 3EG album, and will then destroy the Purple Rain extras.

Also, he will shortly launch a new boyband centred around Josh, called The Wankers.

Yes, it has--in ways that make the relative sparsity of music from Prince even more unjustifiable. He's got the music (even if he stopped recording new material) to be releasing music of reasonably high quality at a much more regular rate than he's releasing stuff now. And the music world now is such that he could be doing it very easily--certainly far more easily than back when he was dropping references to being ready for "when it comes time 2 download your work into your fans' computers." Well, the time's done come for a while now. So, let's take stock: he's signed to Warners again, and. . . nothing's coming? Ah, yes... I remember it well. I have this great record... I'll play and promote it for a couple of years: release date: never!!! Then I'll tweak it over and over, and at least half of you will insist that it all sounded much better live.

.

Yep, the music world sure has changed.

.

But Prince hasn't.
