Thats cool. Im surprised that even Tom Joyner (who's recently come across as not caring too much for him) praised the show.

Change it one more time..

Tom was talking all kind of junk about Prince last Tuesday before the show. He was saying he was going to sit in his chair at the show until Prince played a hit. He also said how arrogant of Prince to have given away his Musicology album during that tour.

Tom has a love/hate relationship with Prince, since Prince was gonna charge him a million dollars to perform on the TJMS Cruise a few years back. Tom still plays his music, even the new songs, but he is still salty over that.

"As long as Prince is alive, Michael Jackson and James Brown will still live!" means Prince is a stand-in for two dead guys.

In the 90s P played the Warner theatre several times here in DC. Jesse Jackson was at the show two rows in front of dancing and chanting while Prince performed SexyMF. He's a fan

I remember seeing Jesse Jackson at a benefit concert in 2009 at the Conga Room in LA. He was losing his mind during purple rain & even got onstage with Cornell West . Luv me some Cornell

I think Rev. Jackson is a bit confused. Prince is so much his own man.

I interpreted this as saying that their legacy will live on because Prince has a similar musical background. A hardworking, perfectionist of a musician/performer. Prince has his own legacy, but he is also a gateway to a certain era, and has a great deal of respect for both MJ and JB.

Sure, they can say it. But in doing so, they'd be just as stupid as Jesse.

But it insinuates that Prince is derivative of MJ and JB. That he is the keeper of their legacy, rather than his own.

Something Eye always say here. prince is the only one left here now. Its time to respect & appreciate him NOW! NOONE else from his era can sell out a 50,000 seat arena consistently like him. After over 30 YEARS in the business!!!!

People STOP criticizing him all the time!!!!!!!!!!!
