Very complex list to come up with. But by this afternoon, I'll have figured out my TOP 6.5 songs from the 1992 - 1998 period, that were the 3rd track on an album (with no more than 9 tracks in total) and whose titles don't contain the letters: S, H, I, T.

Not including the stuff he did in the 1980s, but released only later.

In This Bed I Scream
Days Of Wild (no, it was not a really a "single" - the 2002 version released later on is hardly anything else than a "promo" or a "souvenir" you could buy by attending live shows)
She Spoke 2 Me
Shhh
319
Come (the album version)
My Computer
Dark
The Sacrifice Of Victor
New World

It was an album, just didn't get released. P wanted to give it away with Guitar player magazine. Some copies do exist and the boot of the CD is available.

RIP sad

I see..i always thought the boot was a ripp of the vhs...is it any different from the vhs? Like in the vhs the girl throws up somewhere on the VHS. Same in the album?

Dolphin had just a video and a promo tape release. That doesn't really make it a single, assuming that a "single" is something that is eligible for charts.

I really hope it sees a legit album release one day - it's a very good album. It's a shame it was never released with the guitar magazine, it was at a time where a little public attention to Prince's talent instead of his legal battles would have really helped.

Fortunately there is none of the throwing up in the CD version. Other than that they're the same. I loved that VHS back in the day, long before I'd discovered bootlegs.

So I guess "promo-only" singles like Dolphin can be included? In that case:

1. P Control

2. Strollin'

3. Willing And Able

4. Love To The 9's

5. Live 4 Love

6. Blue Light

7. And God Created Woman

8. Walk Don't Walk

9. 319

10. The Max
