This isn't his new video for a single - just more of an ad for the song - just a bit of lighthearted fun.
There have been a number of references to him being an "alien" recently (in reviews of the Hit N Run Tours 1 & 2) essentially down, and I paraphrase, to him being so talented and cool that he couldn't be human / he is beyond us mere earthlings - so maybe this is just a cheeky reference to that ?

It's silly, but like FunkDr said, it's just a bit of light hearted fun to advertise the song. On the 3RDEYEGIRL twitter account they even poke fun at the lazers: 'THE LAZERS KILL THE ALIEN THAT LIES IN A POOL OF TEARS'. Hundalasiliah! |

I think he put it on youtube and added the picture at the chorus to explain why the song was mastered this way. The chorus is when the breakdown happens which is why the song gets louder there.
