Which Prince song has made you cry more than 3 times? I Will - Chaos & Disorder.
A funny choice but ironing at 6am this morning with my ipod on i shed a tear to this song and remembered i had many times in the past.

Some songs do make me cry on occasion, but honestly never any Prince songs that I can recall. I genuinely think his music gives me a more positive, soulful, life affirming, goosebump, kind of reaction. Even torch songs like Goodbye, I love U but I don't trust you anymore, or sad songs like Comeback, sometimes It snows don't. The closest I get with Prince is his spiritual salvation songs like Welcome 2 The Dawn, Gold, Future Soul Song, Last December etc. Just somewhere in the middle,

Purple rain always gets me, I can't listen to it without shedding a tear. Probably because of the movie and how it's the climax of all the things that happen in it and how each verse is directed to a different person in the kid's life. All my nope.jpg | |

It's not songs that make me cry, it's the memory associated with it that makes me cry. For instance, Three Times A Lady. Awful song really, very cheesy, however I remember my father listening to it after my parents had divorced. I was about eight or nine. I remember seeing him with tears in his eyes and so now each time I hear it, it brings me to tears. | |

Comeback get me nearly every time. Not always tears, but close. It's tied to my own losses in my mind--particularly my sister, who died while I was still listening to The Truth fairly often. | |
