Please explain your words clearly that But I wish they do get punished enough

"I don't wish for the infringers to be ruined," wrote one fan, Javi.

"But I wish they do get punished enough so that this becomes a lesson for others. I appreciate Prince's music and Prince himself enough to be against people who go against his rights as an artist."

Javi ups the game. He takes NurseV's namecheck on The Guardian and says, I raise to a name check on the BBC!

eek lol Oh... What can I say? I fear I'm not prepared for fame yet... lol

Anyway, the BBC article is more balanced than The Guardian one, in my opinion. The author tries to give space to all the opinions, while The Guardian spoke only about one of the positions in the debate.

But I'm famous, so what do I care anyway? lol

Does he even realise you can rip the audio from his 3EG youtube channel? Some folks get millions of views, not Prince though. Just thousands. Maybe a few hundred actually ripped that shit and stuck it on their iPod, maybe they didn't. But if one person puts it on a blog there's a bill for $1m?! Really Prince?!

..

The lawsuit quoting gigs from 31 years ago says it all. He got paid that night, i can say without a doubt he certainly has no plans to release this history himself, so no monies have or will have been lost. The only thing he's losing is respect and fans. Fans are certainly not entitled to this music, but this has gone on forever, be it vinyl, cassette, cd or digital. He should maybe just... letitgo.

..

He isn't suffering, he doesn't remember, never mind know the meaning of the word. He's like a kid who regularly has breakfast and lunch proclaiming they're "starving" at 4pm.

..

Looks like this is the first tour I'll pass on in the UK since Parade, Shame cause i quite like 3EG from the boots i've heard. But rather than spend that money on a person who seemingly doesn't really appreciate my interest and investment in him over the years anyway, i'll happily spend it on nice summer holiday with my family instead.

..

Unless he wants to sue me just for listening. Then i won't be able to.

That is why Prince paid 4 a fan(A dude) hotel accommodations, transportation, & front roll seats 2 c him per4rm live! Then invited him backstage, inside his personal trailer, to christen him personally into the purple kingdom..... Doesn't sound like hate to me!!!!

Oh he did all that 4 a dude did he?!

Yeah i hear u.

Hey maybe u might get lucky one day & he will "christen u personally into his purple kingdom" too.

Only prob is that Eyejester7 is a nice, normal young man, not a creepy dick riding psycophant.

What's with all your childish passive aggressive homophobic comments? How old are you?

I think there's not much to add. Bootlegers have infringed the law and have violated Prince's rights. As a Prince music fan, I think that deserves a punishment. But not as huge a punishment as Prince himself wanted in the beginning.
