I find it moving that it's the last issue. Back then when there was almost no expended universe that SW series was a hell of a ride for fans. I don't remember reading that particular issue but I really have to read the whole run of that series one day.

Its almost © infringement...but I think it'd fall under satire... Lol.

There was recently Good Wife episode about © law, cover songs and satire.

All I know for sure is that has to be WORST artwork I've ever seen. That is really awful. That "artist" should ashamed. Half-assing it like that it's really no wonder the series ended. If the art is that bad I can't imagine how terrible the writing must be.

As a child I loved Star Wars and comic books. I thought for sure a Star Wars comic book would blow my mind. I remember one issue that they were in space OUTSIDE the ship with nothing but a face mask so they could breathe. Han Solo was in the vacuum of space wearing his normal clothes with a mask on having a gun fight. Just think about that for a second. In space. Street clothes. As if space is an environment in which one can simply go snorkeling.

Also, Carmine Infantino's artwork was, well, infantile.

Too funny!!

I've never read any Star Wars comics- and used to buy a few every week til I had kids of my own, but safe to say Star Wars comics were meant for little kids, not the average comic book fan.

Thanks for the belly laugh..

By the way, why is Lando being hugged by Chewbacca? Looks like he's cupping his nutsack.

oh wow! I remember that issue. I had most of those. Luke had long hair and 2 light sabers... and I think a red girl friend.

I liked Carmine Infantino's art, especially when inked by Terry Austin. I also liked Ron Frenz and Tom Palmer, but Al Williamson was the man!

Did anyone read the issue in which Lando disguised himself as "Captain Drebble"? The costume he wore looked like Captain Harlock's, but it reminds me of Prince.
