What's ur top favourites from 2013? Ok, tell me ur favourite songs that our main man of funkinrockinsoul gave us in 2013. For me, this has been a fabulous year of music from him. Even though there hasn't been an album, the NPG horns have made my year with their sound!! 
1. Groovy Potential- hands down my favourite this year! 
2. Extraloveable Reloaded, Ain't Gonna Miss u, Da Bourgeouise... Oooh it's gotta b a tie for second cuz I bloody love them ALL!! 3. Breakfast Can Wait- just make up my own video in my head for this sexy number!(Sorry!)

Funnily enough, just when I was about to throw in the towel and say "Prince is ova!" he released something that, while being far from a classic song, at least showed he could still be funky: Da Boozwazie or whatever you spell it. (I do speak French!) Not much above an aberage b-side from the 80s, but it's as much fun as Horny Toad or Love Or Money. | |

Horrible year for Prince, imo. Pretty much every new track was forgettable, or mediocre. Some of you really need to open your ears to other stuff that's out there....so does Prince. الحيوان النادلة ((((|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|̲̅̅=̲̅̅|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|)))) ...AND THAT'S THE WAY THE "TITTY" MILKS IT!

My favorite studio songs are Groovy Potential and This is what it feels like, the other songs are ok but nothing special. I wonder why he hasn't released more singles from the upcoming album instead of mediocre tracks like Da Bourgeoise and Bcw etc Welcome 2 The Dawn | |

My faves? I'd have to say: " Da Bourgeoisie", "Groovy Potential", and "The Breakdown".
I'll have to relisten to some of them to tell if I like it or not haha. But damn, "Da Bourgeoisie is the BOMB!!! He sure can pull off some amazing funk ya know.
I hope DB, GB, and "Breakdown" are on his new album. I'll be a little dissapointed if he doesn't

Love them all!!! Prince just keeps getting better and better. Just when Eye think he couldn't do any more! He blesses us with something out of nowhere!!! His output is endless & something everyone should be grateful 4 as he reaches almost 60!! Most artist can't continue 2 create muziq 4 four decades in a roll NONSTOP!!! Its unheard of and he should be given credit 4 it 4EVER...
 will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. | |

I was slightly dissapointed with his output this year (I say slightly because I love everything on his Youtube account. Really though, a lot of the stuff he's released has been amazing. Particularly the ones I mentioned in my earlier post and the rehearsals.
To be honest though, to everyone who thinks he has lost it he hasn't. Talent never ever goes away (just listen to him playing his guitar). I just think he needs a little inspiration and/or (and I hate to say this, nor do I want him to) emotional pain, anger...Just something to get his true creative spirit to come back. What do you guys think?
Anyway back on topic: "That Girl Thing" was pretty cool and LOVED the xtended version of "Laydown". Purple Music is my drug and I'm jonesin!!!!! | |
