genius piano on that song. the way he performed that song live in 1984 gives me chills. I never seen any artist ever to bear their soul and give such an intimate performance. incredible. i will never understand why that song didnt make it on purple rain.. his voice on that song, almost in pain by the lust for his love.. he painted technicolor with that piano

Different lyrics such as "Cocaine comes freely, you talk about things that you don't know" which is only on various bootlegs and unreleased song albums whereas the 1991 version with the lyrics, "An old friend of mine got lost in the snow" and silly lyrics like "The sunset fell longest in Persia". Only appears on the 1999 outtake kissoff to WB of teh same name.

Most Prince fans with a modicum of understanding should be able to distinguish, however basic and newbie fans may not.
