Does it sound overly loud like the mp3 version from 3rdeyegirl.com?

It doesn't sound loud. It sounds like there wasn't properly EQ'd and it wasn't mastered. Theother problem connected to this is that there are songs on the official website and some on iTunes. Nothing matches. Unfortuanetly, for some reason, I"m locked out of the official website. It won't let me log in.

First time I heard this on proper speakers. Holy cow it's terrible! Corny instrument choices. Take them all away!! The idea of the song is clever, but poorly realized.

So, I'm not clear on this. Is the iTunes/Amazon version different from the one previously available from 3rdEye? Should I get it, or would it be a waste of time (and a buck, or whatever)?

It's the same version but it sounds better to me than the previous mp3 on the official website.

I'm not so sure. Was listening to the previous one and clicked on the iTunes preview, seems like all the same clipping and distortion issues.

RIP sad

Is it just me or is the artwork a joke?

I actually went ahead and bought it from iTunes. From the 10 seconds I devoted to comparing them, the iTunes version sounds slightly better. But it's probably down to the iTunes store's inhouse conversions being of a better quality than the software version or whatever Prince's camp used to make the mp3 they've been selling.

If you do not like the song fine but why would the I-Tunes version sound bad? It sounds like everything else on I-Tunes.
