it's impossible to pick a favorit or 'best' song from the 90s since i truly love so many.

so i'll just chose the one i listened to the most (about 8000 times before it's release,

and a couple thousand times more since it's release) which is "Dolphin"

Im pretty convinced Prince was a knockout in the 80s AS WELL AS - and in that I'm on the contrary sense from part of the org - I'm convinced that Prince was almost the same in the 90s AND 00s. There's so much good stuff in every decade. I don't think he ever got through a bad phase. There's no album with no good song I can remember.

The Love We Make

Violet the Organ Grinder.

It just came up in the midst of a giant shuffle, and I remembered how incredibly great it is. Remarkable, considering it's on a single with a mess of remixes sharing so much and falling so short of its greatness. Every element that bothers me on the other tracks works on this one. And vocally, Prince does some really fun things in his delivery, just little twists or changes of tone.

Come on, there's got to be at least three more people who, when they really dig deep into their souls, realize that this is, in fact, the best Prince track of the 90's. Just listen to it, headphones, nothing else to distract you. Even if it's not the best thing he did in the decade, it's pure Princely Princeness just Princing it up all over the place.
