I would buy it, but I pray it never comes out. That album was pretty bad.

I guess that mr P lost interest, just as with many other projects.

I like 20TEN much better than Scrotusflow3r, Planet Earth and some other recent efforts. That's how I feel about it.

I like '20ten' too, but 'Lotusflow3r' is one of Prince's greatest albums of all... but aren't you the Orger who called Prince's guitar playing "lazy" on 'Lotusflow3r'??

Hopefully, Prince has short term memory and forget ever releasing 20TEN. Prince is all about looking forward and not looking back? Release new albums of new material. Planet Earth was a better album than 20TEN and I'm sure no one is looking for Planet Earth Deluxe Edition. He should move forward with the 3RD EYE GIRL album and another album of music under his own name.

no reason the individual songs shouldn't be released via 3rd eye girl or whatevr the next online venture will be?

and while we're at it most of his albums since emancipation are out of print, all of his post-WB work should be available in one place online (in WAV or 320mp3). itunes ideally, but his own ongoing site would be ideal.

This LP sounded like someone pretending to be Prince honestly. If you don't have it, Listen to Lotus Flower it is almost the exact same. With 20ten being the lesser of the 2

I think 20ten is much better than MPLSound. Nowhere near as good as Lotusflow3r though.

.

Glad I have a CD of it.

I would take a guess at

Cause and Effect

Compassion

Begining Endlessly

Future Soul Song

Sticky Like Glue

Act Of God

Laveux

Walk In Sand

Sea Of Everything

Everybody Loves Me

Laydown

Rich Friends

Hot Summer

(maybe more)

Some of these songs would have been extendid from the original versions

She Believed in Fairytales and Princes, He Believed the voices coming from his stereo

If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me?

It was supposed to be the normal album on one disc and another on another disc. The normal would have extended songs on it (eg Laydown) and the second disc would have Hot Summer, Rich Friends etc.

Because it's now 20thirteen. Outtakes might surface through different avenues but doubtful the entire project will ever see the light of day.

that's about the only answer needed.

it's positively ancient by Prince's standards.

it's possible it might show up as a download release on some future online venture, but I highly doubt it at this piont. whatever was on it might end up circulating. or maybe everything already has, for all we know.

Somewhat obscure Prince releases have a way of making their way back onto new releases. When 2 R In Love made it from the Black Album onto Lovesexy. The Dance made it from The Chocolate Invasion/NPGMC to 3121. Somewhere Here On Earth made it from ONA Piano to Planet Earth. . So, you could see Laydown Extended on something else.

Here On Earth(from ONA) and Somewhere Here On Earth(from Planet Earth) are two different songs.

Error aside, Se7en has a point. In recent years (or decades) Prince has been revisiting 'older projects', starting with Rave (admittedly, only one year later) but also Chocolate Invasion and Slaughterhouse, which were re-released (digital only) in a reworked format 2 or 3 years after their initial (digital) release.

I think it's possible that some tracks from the project will surface but doubtful it will be in the form of the originally intended project. The extended version of Laydown being an example of that. Also without a confirmed tracklist we really wouldn't know if the tracks were surfacing unless they were remixes/alt. version of 20ten tracks or we were expressly told where the song came from.

I stand corrected! I just went back and listened. I might've been thinking of U'R Gonna C Me, which was rehashed for MPLSsound.

.

In my opinion, it seems that Prince thought these "obscure" songs needed a more official release. Just a thought.
