In my opinion, this was his coolest era.

Not yet a global superstar, still considered cool and daring, great punky clothes and funky hair, cutting edge.. Love it!

Like most poeple, I go through phases of Prince eras, but Controversy is easily my favourite

the last time I remember seeing Prince in Jeans was the Parade 1986 period-as regular wear

Prince was so much in a class by himself. He was bad ass & didn't care what others thought or said about him. He was daring & took chances. He knew that others would call him names & didn't care. But to top all of that off. He had the talent to back it all up & still does.. Those we're times he can never get back. But should feel proud of. Eye know Eye am. Was living it right along with him.

But I love looking at images from 'pop' culture: especially Prince

I prefer the 'homemade' look of these times, than the more glossier photoshop looks of now especially like the 21Night book photos, I like raw stuff (not food)
