with all of the songs already up to buy, does anyone think that, if there is an album it could be a double one. Here's hoping.

Remember, Prince has been away for a while (his standards).

PS - which version of Screwdriver would you prefer, the pop or rock version. I'd go for the rock one

The Remix for sure. It's the best track so far.

i think he's got an album ready to go (probably has "down" and "ain't gon' miss u" on it)

which he's still not completely sure how or where to release and through what media.

then there's just a bunch of tracks he's got kickin' about the studio, stuff like "boyfriend"

or "breakfast can wait", which are being trickled down to us through 3RdEyeGirl. kind of

like taking the sour with the sweet, imo. the whole site is still probably going to be more

about them than about him in the end. those songs of his on there won't be on the album

he's got ready.

except perhaps "screwdriver". but we'll have to wait and see.

I'd keep the 3rd Eye Girl songs (?) for their own album (L.O.L. etc)

I actually think some of the songs are good - it's just the haphazard an lo-rent way they have been released, which somehow soils the overall feeling they give. I think a hi quality CD with all the songs in their final form with some surprises would be cool.

It's barely enough for one album (say 45 minutes)

So why dream about two?

I'd rather have a coherent single disc than a longer posisbly dual disc album.

Single disc and decent B-sides would rock.

but the fact is .. i think most non groupies hope he trashes everything on 3rd eye girl and starts over .. nothing on there is worthy of being called a PRINCE song

There's some new stuff from the Beuie guy that George Clinton mentioned a while ago.

Also, a wallet on hiatus can give you ways to prepare yourself for the future.

Get some food, some water and stuff in storage so that you can survive a few days, weeks, when all that stuff stops working. (happens more frequently in the USA than in my place)
