O M G. That was ******* awesome!!!!!!!! I love the new band - very raw and strong rock sound; I am so glad it was not over-produced and I hope the music to come is the same way. I couldn't believe he let someone else solo with him. Bambi was really unexpected and an awesome performance!! Loved the look - the costumes, the guitars, the moves with the band; loved it all. I think someone was supposed to catch the guitar haha.
Best TV performance since Fury on SNL for sure. I am excited for the first time in a long time.

Have to give it up , that was the man in full form , Rocking a take it or leave it song like screwdriver live , then bringing a cult fan classic .... loved it ... will give team Prince my money again when he comes to Houston this time around .... Amazing .... The lead on bambi ... Holy Shyte Dr Shred .... lol

Prolly due to the guitar issues for Bambi, and not referring to it getting smashed at the end. Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews. | |

My goodness! Anytime Prince tears his guitar like that, he has to throw it down. AND You better leave it singing, after he is gone! LOL! Fallon knew he had to leave it singing! Just the sound of his guitar and falsetto couldn't be more passionate! THAT WAS INTENSE! He made it clear, LOUD AND CLEAR! The notes he played on Bambi, had me constantly re-winding and seeing it over and over! Screw Driver came In and Donna just let us have it! She is such a sexy intense player! Hannah doing her thing on the drums! They pounded and Prince, just came to remind us..What we know SO well! It's Button Therapy, Baby! | |

Just watched again - I cannot get over what an awesome performance that was. I almost felt tears of joy, hoping for so long that he had something like this in him again. Man he is really on to something now, I hope its not a 3 month fad and then on to something else. He looks like a proper front man again. The look reminded me of Dirty Mind with the brown trenchcoat in a way.

I've got to say this too: I know why I don't watch TV anymore. Why would anyone watch that show?? NOTHING was funny on it at all. The whole thing just seemed like a rush-job run through. The guest segments were short and totally shallow. Uninteresting. The whole time I was thinking why would I ever sit down and watch this? Am I the only one not gushing over that performance? Sounded off to me. Prince was not fully there and not his usual playful self.
