Keithy use Control-Click when you're clicking the link otherwise each "pageload" play is counted as a download against your allotted count. Or you can, once the page loads completely with the file playing, simply go up to your browser and choose "Save Page As" and you should be able to get it that way.

don't know what the Mac version of right click is.

If you have a mouse with a right button, it's also right click on a Mac.

Either way, hold down "control" and click the "download file" link - a menu will pop up and you can chose "save file as" or "save link as."

Thanks Nu, got there more by luck than judgement in the end. Still getting used to Mac OS but had activated the right click option when I first got the iMac. Still finding my feet

Well according to the Terms of Service ALL downloads expire after 14 days of purchase so I hope everyone is backing everything up!

I don't think it's some devilish plot by Prince to get you to pay twice for the same thing. I think he's got a "one-man-band" who isn't very experienced running the website

They appear to be using some software called woocommerce on a platform called wordpress. Things appearing, disappearing and being renamed, suggests that whoever is updating the site works directly onto the live site rather than a testing site, then moving over the files/database to the live site once the wrinkles are ironed out, hence this rather eratic behaviour we're seeing.

The same happened with me, KeithyT i.e. zero downloads left, even though I was unaware I was apparently downloading (since no file was popping up as per the first set of purchases from 3rdeyegirl, which was simple). I am guessing this is going to result in a few technical questions coming 3rdeyegirl's way. It's a shame they did not test and resolve this issue before making the file available.

^^sounds about right. Like RDHull said on another thread, it is kinda mindboggling why Prince is nickel & diming this effort on the cheap. A no frills site in terms of design is one thing, but a shoddy operation is a completely different story.

I have a PC and there is no right click save as for me... I am very computer savvy but have no idea how to get this. Now says I have 0 downloads left. Oh well - not the first time I've been burnt by buying something from Prince and it won't be the last. Its only .88 but its just the principle of the whole thing.

Nice to be able to listen to some new P music though.

^ JAMAICABOB: Make sure you are on the order details/download link screen, not the music player. Try Right Click 'Save Link As'....works for me and I'm using Google Chrome (much better than IE) on a PC.

On both Macs & PCs, CTRL + click usually works the way a right-click would.

As for the rest, they should really make clear how to download these files especially when some browsers are set (in preferences) to save vs. load different kinds of file extensions.

Feels like newbie bypassing a lot of beta testing but actually with some work this site could be alright. I don't mind the simple design - all we need is new music and at this price its cool. Somethings are still broken. Try creating a "new password"

Thanks for the tips guys, the only option I get is "Save Target As" and it saves a link to the desktop which is just a jpg of webpage. I did email the support email listed on the page so we'll see what happens.

I really like this, listened half a dozen times!

Quality is a massive step from what we've had before for those that are interested. Wav file with almost no clipping. There is a tiny amount of clipping when looking closely but I can't hear it, which is the most important thing. Been blasting it on the headphones
