I have actually not bought anything from Prince new site cuz it seems 2 be lots of issues when people is about 2 download the songs

You pay. You wait for the email and click the link, OR, you go the My Account page and Right Click/Save on the download button and a few minutes later you have the file. Pretty simple.

Those that have had issues with this have gotten assistance from emailing the site, checking the FAQ or asking here. This really couldn't be easier...

I liked this video, but then again I'm more open to Prince's home-made videos which do give off an amateur charm that the glossy multi-million dollar videos can never produce. And I mean "amateur," but its a goofy vibe that I appreciate.

I don't understand the "plot" of the intro. Are the boys refusing to let the girls play? And why? Made no sense to me but who cares? And yes, I loved that hand gesture. Hilarious.

As is the dance choreography, ranging from semi-coherent to the beloved "drunk" dance. And the ending....what, did Mr. Nelson abduct more girls to join his harem? Are the boys doomed to face the Time's fate?

I liked this new (3rd version?) Screwdriver, more raw and you know what? I'm surprised nobody has mentioned that flub Prince does at one point when he almost giggles and lose his composure. I loved that humanistic touch.

In short, $1.77 is a good price for this.

But for those losers who want to DL this for "free" at YT, have at it.

I'm sure it was entirely shot by the 3rdboys on their iPhones, then edited in iMovie right there and then.

At first, the Screwdriver involved a lot of spinning and counterspinning, but most fans couldn't spin due to their sneakers so Prince taught them the twist.

If that was a film, then RnR Love Affair should sweep on Oscar night.

Also, let me slap people who keep whining about not getting to see the video before buying it.

Umm I'm sorry kids, you know CDs? LPs? Albums? There was a time when you bought one of them and save for the singles that played on your local radio...you most likely didn't hear the other album cuts before you bought the album.

Again, don't want it? Don't buy it. Unfortunately quite afew Orgers I guarantee are downloading that YT clip as we speak while whining about the production value.

The song: I am usually the first one to talk about how much I love Prince's studio work. I am in the minority who thinks RNR Affair is the better song. I do like this live version better than the studio one, however. It's not a bad song, it's just not the end all to me that some here are making it to be. I thought most of Chaos And Disorder, Fury, Guitar, and most of Lotus Flow3r(rock album not MPLSound) are TONS better than Screwdriver, but in the end, it's still nice to have a new Prince song, and the all-girl band ain't bad. And I'm usually the first here to talk about how bad his bands have been recently.

Anyway I downloaded the video (in MOV) and....no problem. None, zero.

I do have one complaint, and its that for whatever reason my iTunes couldn't/wouldn't let me put it on my iPod. Maybe its me or maybe its something with the file itself, I don't know.

Is the sound really bad for everyone else, or did my copy somehow get distorted during download?

I'm playing it through my sound bar on my TV and maaaaaaan, I want to be able to crank this song, but it sounds like I'm playing it through my iPhone speakers: just really tinny, and like my speakers are busted (when in fact they work just fine).

Yes I don't get it why he didn't perform on the Grammys, it would have been a great opportunity 2 promote the Screwdriver single. And when read watch Screwdriver Live 10/2/2013 then I thought he would perform it live at first

Well, maybe prince is the moneyminder that some critical fans accuse him to be.

He wants to be paid for his work. That's why he doesn't give us a live version for free.

Maybe he thinks that a live performance at the Grammy Awards would've damaged his sales of the live version he wants us to buy.
