when was the last time you waited in line for Prince?

me--2006 at the (now demolished Capitol Ballroom/Nation) got in line at 1 pm for a concert that started at 10 pm. well worth it as i was right at the stage, helped one of the twynz with her microphone cord all night (kept getting caught on the speaker) AND....she got me and my bestie up on stage for like 10 minutes! Prince walked within 10 feet of me!

aftershows only and PP. otherwise, I won't stand in lines. If I see a line at a restaurant I goto another restaurant at concerts I wait for things to subside.

July 25 (or 26 I don't really remember) 2011 for about ten hours from the afternoon 'til 11 when the doors of the Melkweg in Amsterdam finally opened. It was also the highest price I ever paid for a ticket, € 100. Worth every cent. Best gig ever! The atmosphere was so great that even standing in line for so long didn't feel like waiting. campfire

Chicago HOB in September - second night. (The one where he jammed on Mountains and Dance Electric.)

4 or 5 hours is nothing.

But doing that for 6 months...

Where is Eye records with them 3121 releases? I have been asking for years.....!!!

Last time was Copenhagen 2011. I waited since 10 am and he got on stage at about 9 pm I think. So 11 hours! But loads of great music throughout the day so the wait wasn't long.

It was the Act I tour in 1993. I stayed over night at a Harmony House store only to get seats at the Detroit Fox Theatre that were on the main floor and around the 20something rows. This was also my first Prince concert.
