You know I hear that "drink carbomb" line and I think that's goofy, yet its the sort of creative goofyness that Mr. P can pull off and get away with.

I have to say, whether we may pick apart the tracks themselves, all together in this buffet package...absolutely uplifting for us fans. Keep up the bootlegz Mr. P, hype us up even more for your new album.

Nice. Not stellar but enjoyable. I really believe if he dropped this kind of stuff 20 years ago most of us would be like...ummm...what? But considering what has come in between this is better. I miss his strong melodies. This stuff is kind of a wave of vocals over a groove. Laydown remix was the best imo. R&R had a great groove, woud rather have had a new song over top.

What the funk is going on with all this leaked music?

Love the RnR #7 remix. Has a foot-stomping funk beat. and that 'Bambi' song on that vid is off the chain.

'Same Page Different Book' sounds like a cross between 'Walk Don't Walk' and 'F.U.N.K.' Great track.

And that guitar solo in 'LayDown' is nasty. Pure filth.

If you hated 'Laydown' to start with, the remix won't change your mind. It's pretty much just a longer version of the same track, which is all that was wrong with that song in the first place (too shirt).

Most def, it's so awesome to see he seems inspired again! Totally love this Prince, it's inspiring and just cool! This is going to be a funky year, can't wait for it all to be released! I'm not surprised about the postive comments though, because people love when Prince is inspired!

And yes, that's the route to go, I think Kanye was inspired by MJs plans to release music that way. It's the best way to do it, release it before it gets leaked on a weekly basis.

after one listen: i really like r&r affair remix, bambi rehearsal and laydown extended. I am not really digging same page different book, honestly i don't like this style of prince's music

besides from that, i truly appreciate hearing new music to start off 2013...hope there is more to come

The first 30 seconds at the beginning of that RnR #7 mix, reminds me of The SOS band's 'Take your Time'. including a bit of 'Funkyown' from Lipps, Inc. I like this version the best.

"same page different book", i like that one a lot. it sounds deceptively simple but it's

difficult to actually call it to mind once it's stopped playing. bits of it get stuck in my

head and i just want to listen to it again.

loving the RNR mix too. nice addition. makes me wonder why prince would let some

outside produced remix his stuff recently when this is the kind of stuff that he's got

on the cuttingfloor. it's way better than any of the other mixes i've heard. gives the

song a whole other vibe.

the extended laydown is cool as well. i like those two extra minutes. some nice stuff

going on with the guitar there. would love it if extended versions of act of god, or of

lavaux would surface later on. those two are screaming for the extended treatment.

and well, the bambi rehearsal vid is just a nice quirky thing to have. i'm a sucker for

his studio stuff. unless it's a real good show or a stellar one off, i usually don't listen

to the live stuff that often. but it's still nice to have. nice clip too.

all in all, a very good day in prince land, i'd say. free stuff and it just pops up out of

nowhere. no vague promises or months of waiting. it's just there. so when you read

about it, you can just go listen to it. that's the way i like it.

as i said before, i wouldn't mind paying for these kind of songs if he would just put

them on a site somewhere and charged a bit of money for it. especially to get it in

a higher bitrate.

but as a total freebee, this is just a very nice treat.

I really like the new song, and the R&R Affair remix. Both sound better to me than anything off 20Ten or MPLSound.

This version of "Bambi" doesn't appeal to me, and I've always considered "Laydown" to be one of his worst songs. The extended version doesn't add anything interesting i.m.o.

Still, I'd buy all four of these if I could.

Here's one for you...The music is fine, not mind blowing. But what gets on my nerves is the method in which he puts out these things. WHY can't the man have a normal website???? Who in the world would think to search for 3rdeyegirl or even dr. funkenberry in order to get a tiny bit of info on Prince? Only people from Prince fan sites. Not some young kid who heard 1999 on the radio and told his mom that he liked that song and who's it by? There are so many young people who have no idea who Prince even is! so this new song i'm assuming is from the vault therefore won't be on the album . I really like it but but it seems like all the things shes posting on youtube will be 2011-2012 material from the vault.

Bambi Rehearsal - I just love it! Took it another place, and the extra guitar make it just come out to you! Prince, must really love this song. He seems to always play it, when he is rocking! Haha..I wish he did 'Last December' on his new guitar. That would have sounded just as wesome!

Same Page - I really love this hook! It really does sound like 'Radical Mad 2045! It's legit! I agree with the lyrics, and his approach to these issues are very understandable. I agree with him on that! The rap is not bad at all, actually! One of the first times, a rap verse that came in and did not distract me. It's a good touch actually! Haha..Go Shelby J!

Laydown Extended - Worth the wait! Thw guitar and deeper vocals just take this on another scale! Love it completely! Prince put it down on this one! I wonder if he is serious about this release in 20Ten Delux? It seems he gots other things to bring! Haha

R&R Love Affair Version 7 - I think what most say, it is much better than the original! Just funky!
