The only mention that springs to mind (and it's not Prince that says the line) is in the song MPLS.

Nice 2 see Bambi ....love that song and it's a great live version.

Same Page Different Book .... nice to see a new song, very NPGMC era sounding and yes slightly reminiscent of Props and Pounds.

Laydown extended....extended part good but this whole song in general could do with a rest, overrated IMO, keen for new stuff not rehashes of 20TEN

RnR remix....hmm quite funky but I also loved the original therefore remix not really needed.

Winner for me is Bambi.

I think that's the cool thing with the way he's done this. Because he's ticked all boxes with the mixed bag of tracks released, instead of dissing what you don't like, you choose what you think is the 'winner'.

Laydown is also weakest for me too, it doesn't really do anything more than the edit... But many on here love it, and as we have different stuff to choose from, it's all good.

Just hope he keeps this up

HMMM....on the Fbook page: there is a pic of Prince as 'father', a woman (Taja ?) is 'mother'..... either Prince has a secret love child or is this new music going to be the results of a collaboration?!

I dont really see the NPGMC comparison, I feel the production is much better and I even quite like Shelby's rap in the middle.

While I hated the original RNR Affair, this version is banging!

REALLY excited about what else is to come and new music from P over the coming weeks / months - defo ready for a new album

He always Kills Bambi Live...so no surprise there.... Same Page Diff Book is Fonkay! really diggin it..even the rap in the middle. The remix of RNR is slamming!! Much better musically, but almost sounds like a whole other song and P just put the RNR lyrics over it. hmmm....

He played "Same Page" at the Troubador in LA 2nd set and it killed live. It was more of a jam centered around the chorus and very hook laden.

The "RNR Love Affair" remix isn't a remix, it's a completely different song, like when "Guitar" had two versions.

I love them both.

You know, I have to admit, these are fucking great. Loved 'Laydown' when it came out and only thought it was too short. Problem solved. 'R&R Love Affair' needed something extra - another layer or two of sound. Problem solved. The new song, "Same page" is just terrific. "Bambi" always destroys. Reminded me a bit of "The Undertaker" version, but that's hardly a bad thing.

These are really, really good, Prince.
