Haha sorry. Ik wat this is i just can't read any of the descriptions or details about this spefic pressing it's in some sort of foreign language could u give more of a description. Besides Prince is only like on 2 tracks. eh who buys it is "just another sucka". Oh wait that's the name of a 94 east album how suiting.

It's hardly 94 East. It's been out of print for years and is of interest to collectors, it hasn't been re-released 1000's of times like Pepe's stuff.

And with Sonny T on there too, you can hear a lot of future influence on Prince's music. Hallucination Rain is HEAVILY influenced by one track, for example. I for one am glad this is seeing the recognition it deserves.

I'm as interested in hearing early stuff from Sonny as I am getting another track featuring Prince!

I found this download at okayplayer.com when someone uploaded it after the 07/07/07 show in new york city and I have it saved in the forums at the atlanta Prince meetup group but looking back on those tracks, it really sounded like they were just starting out and sonny t needed voice lessons on there's gotta be something here....

So will the Lewis Connection CD be a Japan-only item or will it be released elsewhere as well?

it's on iTUnes uk - just got the main song possibly related to Prince. Got To Be Something Here.

Well the Numero Group vinyl/Mp3 release is taken from a sealed original LP, so I presume the CD is from the same source. Maybe it's licensed for CD release only in Japan.

Short answer is that there is no evidence for a CD edition anywhere but Japan. Guess we'll see on the 20th if that one is coming...

I just listened to this album on youtube in its entirety and I can hear Sugarfoot's and the Ohio Players influence and I could see them during there's gotta be something here in the 70's with junie on lead vocals and sugarfoot in the background. some of the lush ballads and synthesizer progressions were something that the Ohio Players were known for and I can hear in this album.

So, vinyl & digital in the U.S. and elsewhere.
