I'm very impressed with all of the music coming from the NPG camp of late. Seems like 2013 is shaping up to be a busy year for all of them.

the rehearsal did sound more like the chaos and disorder album vibe, but the studio snippet

sounded, to me at least, more along the lines of rock n roll love affair. it had that bouncy,

almost poppy country beat to it, just with some added guitar. but it was too short to tell from

that short snippet, the song could really go either way.

i guess it won't be long until we hear the full studio version. i'm hoping for a january 2013

release with a full album following in march or april.

i am not really a fan of the chaos and disorder-era and so far i am not hooked on this clip

however, i am still curious to hear the whole track

so is screwdriver an outtake? (since it mentions the vault in that pic)

Dude i didn't care for it either but it isn't that bad. I like seeing Prince's enthusiasm and he really shines here.

As per, I like the live sound so much more than the studio. Let's hope it rips into raw guitar in the chorus.

Love this rock direction though.

At last I hear the snippet that DrFunkenberry posted! Had the jitters trying to get my ears on it! Oh my God, this is gonna be freaking amazing...I can hear it in Prince's voice. It's sounds kinda different to me, I dont know why? Can't recall hearing his voice sound like before either; interesting. Is it higher, or does he sound younger or do I detect a smidgen of an accent? I don't know, can't put my finger on it from the short clip. But by heck, I'm ready for Prince to get down & dirty with his gritty rock guitar!!!
