The played it yesterday aswell. My wife didn't realise it was the new one but she knew she'd heard it before. She thought it was an old one. It's those keyboard stabs again

He also plays 'Fury' every now and again and Sheila E's 'The Belle Of St Mark' seems to be another one he pulls out every so often.

I got sick of Jeremy Vine, less he had the welsh gardener on. Steve Wright was always a fan of P, I spose if he's still on he'll be playing R&Rse?

I can't put up with 'music' radio much as so much of it's so shit. TalkSport for H&J's about my lot lately. They wont be playing it at all which suits me fine. I don't want to hear it, it aint gon get any bedda.

i dont know how you can listen to that top 40 shit squirrel....it really is almost all terrible...most of the new good music today doesnt make the top 40...

Prince played on Radio 2? Wowwwwwwww! Stop the fucking press! Now all the grannies can have some plasti-funk to go with their plasti-hips.

Man! Why are UK orgers saying things like they don't really know. Of course R2 were gonna play it; they're the only station that ever plays his latest efforts. So, thank god for R2, especially Ken Bruce whose obviously a big fan, and for putting it on they're 'A' category playlist.

And why the negative talk about R2? They're playlist is probably the most diverse on the dial. R1, and even worse, all those commercial (EMAP owned?) stations are just so awful.

And hasn't that been the most annoying thing about popular music these last few decades; like a computer choosing all those generic tunes, very few presenters being allowed to play what they want.

Let's hope it's available to buy/download from itunes/amazon otherwise there's no point in it being played on the radio. that would be typical Prince, his biggest played song on the radio in 6 years and you can only by it for a tenner from an obscure european record label.
