NO, don't think so...I don't mind the song but it doesn't set me on fire either...

But it is too expensive to import - I'll either wait for an album release or find them some other way...

from the samples I have heard with the club/remixes - that actually put me off!!
They're terrible...Prince where are your standards?

Yes, definitely. I love Rock & Roll love Affair, it's top. Like the remixes too apart from the hardcore 'techno-techno' sounding one. That's not my cuppa tea at all, but I do like the funkier dance track wi the guitars. cool

No, I will not buy it. I'm going to wait a few years until someone on amazon.com is selling it for 99 Cents. Sorry, I'm glad Prince is still making music, but something happened. A lot of energy and excitement is missing compared to his music back in the day. A 500 man horn section doesn't help at all either. Why so dull Prince. It really seems like you want people to just forget about you, and you are really making it overwhelmingly easy to do so. So NO!

Nah, unless it turns up in a local shop.

I assume they just paid him a chunk of cash for the song and he doesn't give a damn what happens to it as he has his money.

The song is OK, but nothing special & I don't giva a damn about remixes. Never have. And I stopped collecting for collecting's sake years ago. Guess that answers your question. If Prince does read all of this, he must (or should) get a little worried. Even his diehard fans are indifferent about his new single. Imagine this question being asked in 1987... Maybe recording rehab wasn't such a bad place to be after all...

I really like the song, but the single release is really just that one song with a couple of okay remixes.

In the past, I would still buy a single, because there were interesting remixes, or better yet, extended versions.

If this single had a long extended version, with a heavy funk-rock jam after the song's vocals end, then I would most definitely get it.

Bravo to Prince though, for having physical versions (CD and vinyl) available.

If Prince ever decides to release another album, I hope it's in these formats as well... I would most definitely buy that album (and any album he releases). I hope if there is another album, that it has this song on it.

'Nuff said.

Peace!

the cd is only available on import, it's not out of the ordinary for a single to be download only these days.
