Absolutely NOT a wig... folks don't understand hair can grow...

don't like the texturized fro too much, he needs to cut off the relaxed ends... and that damn shoe-polish black.

sigh How could any of you guys think such a busted fro could be fake? It ain't even got no even texture.

I agree with you and Chocolate1, that it is not a wig. If it was a wig it would be much more even all around, like the wig Steve Harvey's used to wear. I think what some folks don't understand, especially when natural hair for many African-Americans is washed, and depending on the texture, the hair tends to get tight or shrink, unless you blow it out with a blow dryer, so it's not unusual that the hair would appear shorter one day, and fuller a couple of days later or again, if blown out.

in the beginning of the interview, they were asking boring questions and some that is repititive. But overall it was good, especially talking about organization, other charities and music.

There was something the struck out for me, when prince talked about van jones, how he admires him and mentions how he is a great dad or something similar to that. It kind of made me think that maybe prince still would want a family of his own (it never too late)...then again maybe he doesn't desire that no more and perfers making music. I don't mean to discuss about this aspect in prince's personal life since it has been discussed many times and sometimes can be inappropiate but i was hoping i am not the only one boxed

lol I know, I know, I couldn't think of another example to show the difference. I actually never knew Steve was wearing a wig, until I saw him bald, but then I always wondered, why Steve's hair was so stiff and extremely even, and so round, like a bowling ball. But from time to time I always did wonder if it was a wig, because Steve's hair was just too even all around the hairline, but Prince's hair how he is wearing it, definitely looks natural, and I guess some of his fans who are not familiar with the various textures of Black Americans' hair would assume it's not his hair. It is a shame when many think that when they see black men and women's hair, that some assume it's a wig.

Also, why is it that some folks still push that old 60s mentality, that when black folks wear an afro that they're going to start a damn revolution or put up their hand in black power sign? lol You should see some of the stupid ass comments I read on another site. Unbelievable, just over someone deciding to wear their hair natural. falloff

lol Speaking of the 60s movement, I remember during the W2A tour, Prince had vids of the 60s playing in the arena, before the concert started showing people singing and dancing at music festivals, rocking the 'fros, fringes, hot pants and bell bottoms. Like the days of Sly Stone, Jimi Hendrix, etc.

Anyway, about Sherri, yes she contained her excitement but you could tell she wanted to scream like a crazy banshee, and run around the stage 3 or 4 times before containing herself, but she knew she had to behave or Whoopi might have b*tched-slapped her back into reality. lol

Yes you can depending on texture and how relaxed the hair acutally is.

I did hair, specialized in relaxers with Olive Lee Benson... she was a master rose

She taught me that you can texturize hair (not relax it totally straight) and yet still blow it out to a straight look or wet it for a curlier look.

They did this with men and women who wore their hair shorter.

The hair does usually grow out at a rate at about 1/2 per month, but you can get the "S" pattern back with bacj to back protein (keratin) treatments to revive the curl somewhat.

Also sine Princ has grey hair so that hair is resistant and will stick up stray if it is relaxed fully... but even if you add keratin treatments to it it will curl up a bit to a looser "s" pattern.

biggrin

If you check out P's head, you can clearly see some hairs at the tips are still sort straight like and the texture is an uneven one all around.

IMO its too busted to be fake seriously. I would know.
