It is criminal Computer Blue never had an officially released 12" version.

I am sure that I heard somewhere that there is an extended version (possibly live) of Musicology. Has anyone else heard of this or am I dreaming?

I was just coming in to say this. Oh, but I'll also take the original versions of Housequake and Alphabet St. over the extended instrumental jazz thingies.

I remember reading in an Prince bio that the 'remix' of Housequake was actually the original track considered for album inclusion and the 'album' version the actual remix. He flipped them at the last minute.

I'm 95% sure this isn't true. Any "experts" wanna weigh in?

I love all the 80s extended/remixes. Standouts are Mountains, La La La, Lets Go Crazy, Erotic City, Anotherloverholenyohead, Hello, Scarlet Pussy, I Wish U Heaven, Thieves in the Temple, Gett Off, New Power Generation, and Pop Life.

I still don't get why he never released that truly electric extended version of Computer Blue...the thing is a MONSTER epic of a song.

Of the one's i've heard, Raspberry Beret and U Got The Look, just for their chicken scratch guitar intros really, Mountains extended is also a bit better than the original i think.
