I am sure that I heard somewhere that there is an extended version (possibly live) of Musicology. Has anyone else heard of this or am I dreaming?

I only listen to the extended versions of "Erotic City," "She's Always In My Hair" and "Scarlet Pussy." I don't care for the album version of "I Wish U Heaven" but the 12" version kicks ass.

I love the Frere Jacques/Are You Sleeping bit on Pop Life, but I sing it with or without Sheila.

All of the 80's releases are better than their short versions, except Kiss. Whatever he did was just plain unnecessary.

I was just coming in to say this. lol Oh, but I'll also take the original versions of Housequake and Alphabet St. over the extended instrumental jazz thingies.

I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

I remember reading in an Prince bio that the 'remix' of Housequake was actually the original track considered for album inclusion and the 'album' version the actual remix. He flipped them at the last minute.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I love all the 80s extended/remixes. Standouts are Mountains, La La La, Lets Go Crazy, Erotic City, Anotherloverholenyohead, Hello, Scarlet Pussy, I Wish U Heaven, Thieves in the Temple, Gett Off, New Power Generation, and Pop Life.

I still don't get why he never released that truly electric extended version of Computer Blue...the thing is a MONSTER epic of a song.

Of the one's i've heard, Raspberry Beret and U Got The Look, just for their chicken scratch guitar intros really, Mountains extended is also a bit better than the original i think.

We're here, might as well get into it.
