Prince music in the movies

Was watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall last night (love the Dracula song) and Nothing Compares to you in Hawaiian is played over the credits, which got me wondering how many of Prince's songs have popped up in movies over the years?
I know Kiss has been used a few times; Pretty Woman, Happy Feet, Under The Cherry Moon, Gett off is in PS I Love You, When Doves Cry in Romeo and Juliet.

DMSR in 'Risky Business"

Delirious: in "Delirious" and a chech and chong movie.

and loads more. I have heard he demanded 2 to 3 times the normal rate and refuses most requests.

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

Well this wasn't his music that I spotted in a movie but a mention:

- in Rock of Ages when the 2 young main characters are singing in the record store u see the Purple Rain record on the shelf
- in What to Expect When you're Expecting J-Lo's showed a photo of her husband who had a Purple Rain theme 4 his birthday cos he loved Prince. He was Prince & she was a showgirl
pray Peace in the House of Prince.

Gett off is also featured in a cool vampire horror film by John Landis called "Innocent Blood".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Innocent_Blood_%28film%29

It's played in a strip club scene with lots of barenaked girls.

Lets not forget Spike Lee's Girl 6 which is all Prince songs throughout the movie as his music is the entire soundtrack.

Also, I always though it strange that I read that Prince said no to the using of Kiss for Happy Feet but it seems like other movies, as mentioned in this thread, didn't seem to have to ask the Grand Pupa for permission to use one of his songs execept Kevin Smith but he wanted to use Most Beautiful Girl in the World which Prince controlled. But all of his other catalog should be controlled by Warner, correct? It turned out OK as he won a Golden Globe for his original Happy Feet song but still always wondered about that process.

Also, just remembered Nasty Girl in Beverly Hills Cop as well as Dan in Real Life.

Good Love, Big Lights, Big City.

No audible Prince music, but the Purple Rain, Sign 'o' The Times and Batman albums are mentioned/seen in Shawn Of The Dead.

A Daryl Hanna Movie from 1982 movie called Summer lovers, had Sexuality and Sexy Dancer.

A John Landis vampire movie called Innocent Blood, with Gett Off

Cool thread. cool

If I remember correctly, a Vanity 6 song ('Nasty Girl' ?) is playing while Audrey hangs out in her cousin's bedroom, in 'National Lampoon's Vacation'.

One of the kids from 'The Goonies', is wearing a Purple Rain t-shirt.
