Just got done watching some live performances during the Gold Experience era and WOW...there is a grit, a passion, a fire, that I don't hear in his latest performances . Sure P may still be funky, hitting all the right notes etc...but something is missing. Almost like Prince has become a cover band of his former self. What happened?

Yes and when he is 80, he will have less fire than in his 50s...it's just kind of how aging works. you will find out soon enough.

Well...if you go and look up/study a little on the theoretical framework of cause and effect and then return with a little break down of Prince, his career album dates and a bit of background on where he was at the time, I'll explain in more detail.

As far as being 'on fire' in TGE era. Thank goodness he isn't anymore. If he had been we'd have had nothing but ashes at this point in time.

When I was a teen in the 80's I knew that The Rolling Stones were irrelevant and past their heyday/prime.

I dont expect many teens to be as well read as I was back then, especially since some old(er) fans of Prince STILL dont get it and some old(er) female fans STILL treat Prince as a sex object at their age, but with the new technology and sophistication in general of todays youth, there is no way for the youth not to understand.

I guess preaching about the truth and freedom has a way of catching up with you....
