I also want a musical.

With some assistence with writing the story line.

Would be fantastic.

Nice idea but doubt he would consider it. I'd like to see him do a number with Chris Brown and Drake. Lady Gaga would be interesting.

No.

Chris Brown is an extremely bad idea.

Drake too.

Lada Gaga could be interesting indeed. But I don't think he should do it. For the main audiance that would look to much as if he needs to collaborate with her to get himself a hit. I don't think it will enhance his current respectable image.

I think an album of about 10 songs featuring Prince and another artist would be fantastic! Here's my dream setlist:

1. Prince & Justin Bieber

2. Prince & Marilyn Manson

3. Prince & "the next winner of X-Factor"

4. Prince & Garth Brooks

5. Prince & Robin Thicke

6. Prince & Michael Buble

7. Prince & Tom Cruise (single release to coincide with "Rock of Ages")

8. Prince & will.i.am

9. Prince & Usher

10. Prince & Coldplay

Bonus Track: Prince and prince

No offence, but I would rather stick a needle in my eye then listen to any one of your suggestions above.

I don't mind a duet from time to time, but I wouldn't want a complete album unless it was unique in some way.

Well, actually I would not mind a duet with Marilyn Manson, Michael Buble or Coldplay wink

If home dude is inspired to do it, I trust it will be well thought out and good since he hasn't put one out in all this time. I'm sure he'd take his time and get it right. I doubt it's in the cards, though.

Now, the idea of him working with Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and Meshell Ndegeocello intrigues me. I would love to hear him and Meshell on a hot, funky instrumental bass guitar-centered collaboration song. Straight up mad-laboratory ish. Do dat!

Hey, he's already worked with Bootsy, too. Gimme a side, NPG-like funk project with Bootsilla!

A man can dream. lol cool

All love.

Isnt Meshell on Emancipation? And does Badu at the cele count? I know they didnt show us any collaboration written song...

Yeah, Meshell is on Emancipation, I read. That's cool. And Badu at cele is very cool, too. But I was thinking more like a duet -- big collaboration with roughly equal parts that ended up on a major CD release.

But, again, I'm not pining for duets, really. Just brang meh dat purple rock n roll, brotha, and we skraight far as I'm concernededededed.

All love

According to princevault.com, it was "Emale,"

but her contribution is listed as unknown.

Emale is the fourth track on the second disc of Prince's 19th album Emancipation, the third album to be credited to .

While credited as a solo composition, the track was first recorded as an instrumental during a jam session between , his band,Meshell Ndegeocello, Eric Leeds andBrian Lynch on 3 July, 1996 at Battery Studios, New York, NY, USA (during the same session as another untitled instrumental). At some point between July and October, 1996, re-recorded the track at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA.

Take Me With You--Appolonia couldn't sing to save her life, but it works in the song.

That's because Prince had Lisa Coleman singer underneath her voice

Really?? No Wonder she sounds HALF Decent...lol

The other half is Lisa Coleman!

Appolonia sounds horrible..lol

Yeah, I don't think he should have a duet album. As someone mentioned, whenever he works with someone, their vocals are usually ALWAYS buried in the mix. I mean: "My Computer" is one fine example of that! Kate Bush is one of my favorite singers, and I was astounded she was even on that song, I still am questionable is she is really there? Hahaaha..jk

Same with, 'So Far, So Pleased'... lol

I did mention a duet with Andy Allo. What I mean by that is, having Andy Allo sing while he plays guitar. I love 'Oui Can Luv' and 'Love Is A Losing Game' I wouldn't mind a album full of songs in that vein. That would be cool! smile

Not really. He just used some other celebrities to pad out songs or sing backup. There were no real duets on Rave.

Prince’s ego is just too big for a duet album to work.

You know what I mean. For it being Prince, it was a duets release.

Ani DiFranco, Gwen, Chuck D, Larry, Sheryl Crow

Santana scored hit with Supernatural and the industry thought it would work for Prince. Wild that Supernatural sold 27 million copies. The music industry is one big shot in the dark.

David Lee Roth

Steven Tyler

Lenny Kravitz

Ice-T

Victor Wooten

Weird Al(making fun of each other)

Bono

Kid Rock

How about a ballads album???

"When 2 R in Love: The Ballads of Prince"

Announced for voting as the next Prince release during the A Celebration week in June 2000. Ballads collection. Full tracklist and sequencing is unknown, but it is known to include:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unreleased_Prince_projects

IMO, about now the world could use this one!!!
