It was if I remember correctly in Frankfurt in 1988 and I talked to a member of the liveband of Milli Vanilli when a guest of the birthday party for Steve Fargnoli who left the party gave it to me just so . Or now that I type it who knows maybe it was Steve Fargnoli himself , I would not have recognized him .

Exactly. Most of us have some quite rare items, but sometimes it's the smaller, less rare little things that you pick up over the years that are a momento of somewhere in Prince's career, and possibly mean more to us than some of the more expensive items in our collections.

Again a nice item, but about as rare as a wet weekend in Margate despite the "Limited edition" sticker.

Either a tambourine Prince gave me at Mayte's 21st birthday party or a candid picture I took of him in the parking lot of the Rosemont Horizion in Chicago, just prior to a Lovesexy show.

some cool things like:

-Strange Tales from the Rain on Vinyl Autographed by Appolonia when she appeared here in SF.

-White Vinyl Black Album

-His Majesty's Pop Life on Vinyl

-Prince's Handwritten Studio notes while recording 'U make my sunshine'

im DYING to get the earring that prince wore on the lovesexy tourbook.. its on sale on ebay now.. i REALLY REALLY REALLY want it.....

LMAO, I have one too.

I had a jam session at my house Friday night and after letting that shirt sit in my closet for two years or so, I finally wore it.

Now, I can't say it was the shirt for sure, but I sure did play better than I thought I could, LOL.

I've got a drum cymbal signed by all the members of the NPG after a Musicology concert. It came right off John Blackwell's drum kit, and everyone but Prince signed it. Now that I think about it, a gig-used cymbal is probably the rarest thing you can get - much less one signed by the whole band.

I've also got a couple symbol tambourines signed by Candy Dulfer.

And technically, all that stuff is my daughter's, as the band gave them to her, not me.

At the 2002 Xenophobia Celebration I saw a couple of Japanese fans who had some cymbals being signed as well, they got them from John B as well....

In 1981 , i went to see Prince perform at FLIPPERS ,in L.A. I had the privlage to watch Prince rehearse , then i was front row center for the show, after the show i got his guitar pick that he dropped and his DIRTY MIND botton that fell from his trench coat. PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a small collection of handwritten items like a signed Controversy album, set list, unreleased track list for a cd single, concept for a mini mag and some other rare one of a kind items.

I love collecting but its been put to the side right now unless its something for either a great price or is really rare.
