Who cares anymore. They look great together. I really don't see what the big deal is with what religion he/she is/are. He still makes great music right? And she's great looking and treats him well right? So just leave it alone. I'm sorry but I am just getting a lil annoyed with everytone getting all in a fit because of the religion. Dreaming permits each and every one of us to be quietly and safely insane every night of our lives.

Prince has never officially said that he is.
But based on the fact that Prince puts his personal life into his music, it's fair to say that Mani will at least be giving lip service to Prince's beliefs. "If you wanna be with me, ain't no room for disagree". --------------------

Lisa started off as Prince's personal assistant. Then she ended up in his band. Hum. People started rumours that they were seeing each other. No one bothered to ask her sexual preference. It sounded good on paper. Tabloids like to have something to write about. I have and extra ticket to the game want to go?
There is the truth and then there's gossip. Is it possible that Mani is Mayte's cousin being that their mothers are sisters and all. sorry if that was over your head...jump up and try to catch the point next time. | |

I think lovebird is implying that because Prince was a JW and Mayte wasn't, this kinda made it alright! I don't know what the JW stance would be on that - sure, its perverse logic but, in JW-world perverse logic is something they come up against daily. ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...

I really don't think he is a devout as what people think he is..I think Prince understands the ideas of the religion...but I don't think he is fully claiming it like that...I think he pulls out what he feels and uses it for his own use...not hating on that...as long as he stays himself...and with his girl...I really thought him and Mayte were 4ever...she seemed to fit perfectly into the puzzle...
