If you wish to be less annoying, you will need to understand that people with different tastes and opinions to yours are not any more or less "right" or "wrong" than you. Again, this is a basic tenet of intelligent society. Go out into the real world, meet some people, have some fun, and stop wildly pummelling your keyboard in fits of incandescent rage because - shock - somebody you don't know likes songs that you don't.

You REALLY wanna think you're THAT important where you think because you've been addressed by me a couple of times that you're being stalked? Must be more of that "look at me; I need attention" syndrome you seem to have. Where outside of these two threads have I even bothered to address you? Exactly. Exaggerate much? And if I was that unimportant to you, you wouldn't have typed an entire essay as a response. You don't like what I have to say? Ignore it. But Future Soul Song is a masterpiece (well...as good as a Prince masterpiece can get nowadays)

As much as I hate Everybody Loves Me and the maxipad commercial and several other songs...it's Beginning Endlessly that disappoints me the most. And it's because it starts out fine and then goes nowhere. It just goes on and on and on without ever evolving into something worthwhile. He didn't even bother to write lyrics for it...he just slapped a bunch of lines together and sang them over the same repetitive groove. And that sets the tone for the whole album.

I loved "Act of God." But I'll have to vote Nay for the album overall.

(Mr. P, you deciding to release it thru newspapers was you subconciously knowing you churned out a forgettable, weak effort right?)

Nay,

The album left me almost cold when i heard it, apart from Laydown, that at least showed some menace / urgency and maybe the end of Compassion (those interwoven female vocals).

Just very unexciting, bland, underproduced material, lacking strong or even decent compositions, without any solid hooks and interesting riffs.

One of the few Prince-albums i didnt even bother to buy or keep as a download.

My verdict: 4 out of 10.
