Really?

I think both albums are far superior to 3121 and 20ten, and they are not even masterpieces.

Both on 3121 and 20ten there is no song as strong to be found as Sexy MF, The Morning Paperrs, Damn U, Pussy Control. Endorphinmachine, Dolphin, Shy, I hate U or Gold.

Some of us learned that different people have different tastes back when we were children.

Also, I'm not sure why you (a forgettable and seemingly constantly-enraged orger who only cropped up on my radar within the last week due to an persistent, stalker-esque fascination on repeatedly addressing me) appear to have convinced yourself that my "taking you seriously" is a priority, or even a small concern of mine.

The things you choose to either "take seriously" or not, hold as much interest to me as the following, in no particular order:

  • What I ate for lunch on the 13th of May 1991.
  • Which adverts might be shown in the commercial break between any random gardening show being televised in 12 days from now.
  • The inner workings of an 18th century tap.
  • What became of the empty plastic bottle I diposed of yesterday after I had imbibed the contents of it.
  • The small amount of dust gathered on the corner of my desk.

In short, stop addressing me. I do not know you, I do not wish to know you as you seem incredibly dull and annoying. If you wish to be less annoying, you will need to understand that people with different tastes and opinions to yours are not any more or less "right" or "wrong" than you. Again, this is a basic tenet of intelligent society. Go out into the real world, meet some people, have some fun, and stop wildly pummelling your keyboard in fits of incandescent rage because - shock - somebody you don't know likes songs that you don't.

TL;DR - Hop off my nutsack and get a life, kid.

You REALLY wanna think you're THAT important where you think because you've been addressed by me a couple of times that you're being stalked? Must be more of that "look at me; I need attention" syndrome you seem to have. Where outside of these two threads have I even bothered to address you? Exactly. Exaggerate much? And if I was that unimportant to you, you wouldn't have typed an entire essay as a response. You don't like what I have to say? Ignore it. You're not too young to not know what that means, right "kid"?

Gonna give it a Ya/ay - that's half Yay half Nay.

20Ten is a solid Prince album and thankfully he has edited himself and given us an album that lets us dip in and out of without being too overblown or overlong. I am sure he had the capacity to bust out another multidisc set, but this time it feels a 'less is more strategy' is on point.

For the most part he gave us quality tracks - even if he did save the very best for very very very last.

I don't get why this album got so much praise compared to Lotusflow3r 3cd set....which I think was much better and was well produced.

20TEN just sounded like a rushed, plasticy hatchet job and had moments of being bordering on the very corny, such as Compassion and Future Soul Song in particular...

If Prince is going to take a recording break, I would rather he left us with the memory of the Lotusflow3r 3cd set rather than that....

yeahthat only sticky like glue is the only song i can stomach

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
