Mikki White who was with Prince for two years has written a book talking about the good the bad and they ugly of working for Prince. Name of the book is Purple Reigned On Me will be out soon . I just watched the interview.It's the same old story we've heard many times before.She was a huge Prince fan but once she started working for him,she found that he's "egotistical" and not always the nicest person.Surprise,surprise.What else is new? Can't see why she felt the need to write a book about this.

We tried to contact the manager that handles PR for all things Prince to obtain permission to use videos and pictures of Milenia but they never responded. I have much respect for Prince and understands that he wants to protect 'the Brand' . I have read potions of Mikki's book and it raised my eyebrows a little more. I was shocked that all though the women of Milenia are sisters they can't market themselves under that name. Strange huh?

The thing I got most out of this interview is that she was more about helping the kids at heer school while still working on her musical career. She is happy doing what she does. Here's a video from her first solo album she has a new one out currently as well

She was obviously turned off by his attitude and "eccentric" ways. And this was when he was supposedly all high and mighty and studying the word, between 2001-02.

If somebody writes a book detailing Prince's controlling behavior et al and wants to show no originality by making reference to Purple Rain, then they should title it 'PURPLE REINS'.

All I know is I tried to listen to the interview with the choreographer, and it was already removed.

Honestly? All musicians are like that.

But if Prince's music and his lyrics really give you some insight into where his head and heart is at, then I think that more often than not, the good in him by far outweighs the bad.
