Live 4 Love - wow, forgot how good this was...even the rap is O.K.!

this is my song of the day, go dig it out. It's a real standout and given where our shitty little planet is right now I am surprised he doesn't sing this live anymore.

Great track, but I must admit, as its tucked away at then end D&P, I don't play it as much as it deserves. I need to get me a play list....

love the song. overlooked indeed. i agree, best rap ever on a Prince song IMO! should have been the intro and farewell for Tony M

Also one of my favorites. The socially-conscious lyrics make it more meaningful, imo. I always enjoy it when Prince supports staying in school and education in his songs. Not that many artists do that.

If it comes up on shuffle I don't skip it but I don't go seeking it out either.

RIP sad

Sorry. I just can't get past Tony M and those dancing gentlemen. I do think that Diamonds and Pearls was a great album, and I think that was a great tour. But I cringe when I listen/watch anything from that era because Tony M and co. were so awful.

i feel u for the most part, but they weren't that bad in the Cream video (probably because of limited screen time razz ) but the one guy, not Tony M, and not the old looking guy with the bad hairdo but the other one, (is it Kirky J or something) is the only one who had the non-corny masculine swag Prince was going for during that era
