I wonder if prince woke up this morning and realized who he is?

I mean did he look in the mirror and say"hey I'm the 2nd greatest live performer to michael jackson ever!"

I'm the greatest Jack of all trades master of non musician of all time!(he can do alot very well but not the best at any of them)

do you think he understands how good he is or does he take it for granted?

Lol Mj was a great entertainer, he wrote some incredibly catchy and fun song, he had great vocals, but i am not sure if you can call him an incredible live performer when he didnt change his routine very often and often lip sang? Prince changes things up and has delivered some fantasitc vocal performances, as well as his guitar work so IMO Prince is the best live performer.

i have seen both live in their prime and mj is the greatest of all time by far........taking nothing away from prince

but how? How do u judge a live performance or compare two different artists live?

One will never understand what they mean to someone else unless they were in the other persons shoes. I don't think anyone does..and when they actually think they do, they become egotistic and power hungry.

Well now Prince had/has gimmicks 2, that is a part of being a performer/entertainer.

Dancing is a huge thing too. I at times prefer the pre-Parade dancing Prince with the band guitarist on 1 side bassist on the other, when he didn't dance around as much.

And Michael didn't skimp on the quality of musicians who backed him. Prince only plays 1 instrument at a time, so all the music can't be contributed 2 him(live)

Point is the both in my opinion are still 2 of the greatest entertainers of my time. Michael has been doing it since he was seriously a kid. So his level of entertaining and style is going to be different than Prince. 5 Stars 4 both of them in my book
