Me being a creative director, I see a music video for every song in general not just Prince's. What makes it so easy with Prince however is how he tells a story not just with the lyrics but with the music. (corny) And P.S. "Another lonely Christmas" always makes me burst into tears. | |

Honestly most of his songs give me a mental pic, but these are the constants..
Do Me Baby... Prince in a bed with a sheet across him like that one pic...! Insatialbe...the talking part is what gets me the most. Pink Cashmere...Prince hugging his lady and giving her a pink cashmere coat. Mr. Goodnight...I always picture Prince in a London hotel for some reason. Somebody's Somebody...always picture a rainy night with laying by the fire. Shhh....I always just play out in my mind what he is desribing. Prince is GORGEOUS. I'm inspired. GOD is GREAT. This is an interesting topic. I actually paint and the Prince songs that directly inspired paintings for me are Life Can Be So Nice, Power Fantastic, Muse to the Pharaoh, Crystal Ball, Comeback, La-la-la-hee-hee-hee, Under the Cherry Moon, When Doves Cry, and Savior (not as mushy as the song though). There are probably a few more but these are the ones that come to mind. |
