Sorry to hear that Michigangirl, but many of us, including me, are not bored with him at all.

No he's not on the radio much anymore - at least nothing off the most recent albums (although the Current in Mn plays many of his new tunes), but he's still making incredible music, live concerts like no other artist on the planet, putting out great albums year after year.

It's been obvious for years that he makes music that he wants to hear, not necessarily for his fans- and for any fan that can be a hard pill to swallow, but he's always done that and you may have grown apart with his music, simply moved on from his sound.

The company I managed up until about ten years ago...anytime someone quit or got fired, we didn't hold grudges, we would simply say "They graduated", my company and that employee had gone in different directions. In 1999, on new years eve, as a gift to myself, I put in my two week notice. I loved that company, honestly- especially the volunteer work I did for them for many, many years, but I had graduated, I had moved on. You may have graduated, too.

If U are bored...u can just quit the 'org.

But that prolly wont last long for you because ure still on here.

Every time someone says something like this people tell them to leave the Org. Not once have I seen anyone say that they are bored with the Org, only Prince. So why do you (that's ALL of you) tell people to leave a site that covers more than just Prince, his music or his related artists? This site is more than just a Prince message board. It's a small community. Albeit one that's got more nutters than a typical community and more aggression and less compassion, but a community nonetheless.

If people are going to chastise others for posting criticising comments on Prince's output then they should be prepared to do likewise for praise given to such work.

Wouldn't it be simpler to check out threads and artists that interest you on here until Prince does no longer bore you than to start "bait" threads. Prince isn't responsible for every individuals personal amusement or lack thereof. If you're bored then find something that doesn't bore you. Don't spend time moaning about something that does bore you.
