Voila:

for future reference - to add a hyperlink, do the following:

First Write the text you want to appear for the link.

Then highlight it and click on the hyperlink icon at the top of the text box (that's this chappy here --> )

Then a little popup will appear, insert the url (e.g. http://prince.org/msg/7/343925?pg=1) where it says Link URL and then hit insert. Your chosen text should then appear linkified. job done.

This doesn't seem to be working - although it does start off going to the correct link, it always redirects to http://prince.org/msg/5001/7 (at least it does for me), so to get around this, links can still be added using the old traditional method, so I've redone them. Adding links using the old method can be achieved thusly:

[ url= http://someurl.com] Text which will appear [ /url ]

(without the spaces)

That's what happened to me when I tried - they all linked to one strange page. Btw I'm out of town at the moment so will resume the album a day discussion tomorrow. Sorry for the pause in transmission.
