Paisley Radio - "Bye 4 Now"

Paisley Radio has been put on indefinite hiatus. Hear my announcement here.

Thanks to tuztones, ernestsewell, Fenwick, squirrelgrease, 7SilhouetteProject, Militant, purplecam, Elle85n09, and everyone else who supported Paisley Radio over the past few months. I appreciate it.

Sorry to hear this...do you know of any other Prince stations still going online or otherwise? That 365 station now charges a fee I think.

Thanks for any info.

Live365 charges for a VIP package, but not to just listen. You can listen for free to most stations over there. When I did my show in 2001-2003, I did it on Live365. Those were the FREE all around days, and eventually charged $4.95 a month for hosts for the very basic package, which I did (I had 2 stations, my show and Uptown Radio which played all Prince stuff, no "shows" per se - I even played bootlegs and got a Cease and Desist from Prince's people - SCORE! HAHA) But even back then, anyone could listen.

You can listen to Girl Bros radio over there for free, as with any station. The VIP package offers a bit more flexibility, but nothing worth paying for. Also, if you have iTunes, go to Radio > Alternative > Girls Bros Radio, and listen right from iTunes. They broadcast 24/7, and if you follow Wendy & Lisa, or Girl Bros Radio on Facebook, they'll update when they're live and testing things out, noodling around, or whatever. Pretty fun when they're doing that.

There are other stations/shows/podcasts, Prince and non-Prince, and sometimes-Prince that are worth giving a listen to and supporting w/ your listens. Even the wonderful people at Freedom Train and Peach & Black Podcast do more than Prince-only shows. It's worth digging around and finding something you really enjoy and want to support on a weekly (or however often they broadcast) basis.

Damn Chris, not him, not now....

Seems like C-Smoov had only just found his rhythm then he was gone.

Live365 Prince station seems to be VIP only as far as I can see and Emancipation radio is a little light on Prince music these days. That leaves the LastFM one and a few podcasts.
