First five tracks of this album are GREAT in my opinion. The last song is one of the most horrendous I've ever heard from him.

That's pretty good. Almost no Prince album has 5 tracks in a row I think are all great.

I think it's solid enjoyable pop album, Not one song I don't like.

I think Future Baby Mama, Mr Goodnight and Chelsea Rodgers would have better off on a different a more RnB focused album. The Morning after should have been put on this album, would have been a perfect fit

The One U Wanna C is it's highlight and the best of the decade.

I also love Resolution, I do agree he lyrics are a dumb but it is just a great feel good track, pure pop. I don't get why there are some that hate this song or album.

Planet Earth

Imagine holding Planet Earth in the palm of your hand
With no regard 4 your place of birth or claim 2 any land
The only thing between us now is the truth we understand
If Planet Earth was in the palm of your hand

50 years from now what will they say about us here?
Did we care 4 the water and the fragile atmosphere?
There are only 2 kind of folk and the difference they make
The ones that give and the ones that take

CHORUS:
Just like the countless bodies that revolve around the sun
Planet Earth must now come in2 balance with the one
That caused it all 2 be and then we'll see His kingdom come
So shall it be written, shall be sung

Imagine U could rid the earth of anyone U choose
Which ones would U need the most and which ones would U lose?
Do we wanna judge another lest we be judged 2?
Careful now... the next one might be U

CHORUS
(All around)
(Right now! The one, the one, the one)
(We will see His kingdom come)

Imagine sending your first born off 2 fight a war
With no good reason how it started or what they're fighting 4
(No good reason, what are we fighting 4?)
And if they're blessed 2 make it home, will they still be poor?
Pray 4 peace right now and 4ever more

CHORUS
(Ooh, wee!)
(All around the sun, yeah)
(Say we got 2, with the one, the one, the one)
(We will see His kingdom come)

Oh, say it one more time

CHORUS
(Jehovah)
(See His kingdom come)
(Shall be sung)

So shall it be written, shall be sung

Though I never really listen to it as an album, but the material on it is some of my favorite post-TRC era.

The stuff I come back to tends to be from the second half of the LP, and I think Guitar, with a little work on the lyrical flow, could've been his best single of the decade (not much competition I know).

Uneven album; 3 years after its original release, only SHOE (never a fan, anyway), Lion of Judah (the kind of song that could have fitted nicely on TRC had it not been a jazz album) and Chelsea Rodgers (great jam) have stood the test of time as modern "classics" or "strong songs"; The 1 U Wanna C could have been great but those truly cheesy lyrics destroyed the enjoyment completely ("I got a lot of money!"... rolleyes) ; FBM and Mr.G sound like just-ok 3121 leftovers, and the happy guitar-pop tracks (Resolution, Midnights in the World, and Guitar-which is perhaps his dullest and boring rock song ever) are the kind of songs that I'd expect in an Avril Lavigne album (in other words: EMBARRASSING...) and I'm not kidding ill ; and the title-track is blaaaaaaaaand...a harder-rockier sound would have been perfect...

Not a bad album, but as I said, certainly uneven...in the same category as For You, Emancipation, Chaos & Disorder or 20Ten...

Truly shocking? Any artist who could create gems such as "Planet Earth", "Somewhere Here On Earth" and "Chelsea Rodgers" would get my respect. Those three in particular are up there with his best of the decade.

"Guitar", "The One U Wanna C", "FBM" and "Mr. Goodnight" are all respectable, if not classics. It's only the last three tracks that I find a little weak.

I agree toejam, i think there are only a couple of weak tracks on the album. Planet Earth contains some of the most singable tunes in a long time.

Guitar, The One U Wanna C, and Chelsea Rodgers are perfect pop imo.

I like my Prince to be a little more avant garde, but i really do like the playfullness on PE, he sounds happy, and confident.

I really enjoyed PE that year. I moved into a new house
and neighborhood and listening to PE helped that transition
go smoother. The guitar work on the title track was and
still is amazing. Somewhere Here on Earth may be his best ballad.
I love Resolution. Some of these song have a Revolution feel to them in their
sound.

I remember a questionaire NPGMC had right before it was shut down.
A few of mine and others suggestions made it into the songs. Prince reads
these posts and does listen to us.

I still love the PE cd.

I have good memories of it, it was a pretty fun era besides the music. Over analyzing the front cover, all the corset and chest hair jokes lol The great stories from Orgers who went to the London shows. Working out who the F Chelsea Rodgers was. The rage some had over Mr Goodnight. And of course the legendary Superbowl performance. idk, I enjoyed it.

This is my least favorite collection of songs between 2000-2010. It has some great moments like the title track, somewhere here on earth, lion of judah. Guitar is one of my top ten least favorite Prince songs of all time. I like the instrumentation but not the lyrics. They make NO sense. The One You Wanna C is too forced. Its a good pop song but it needs more energy. I have never been a big fan of these style of songs by Prince though. Like I have never really been a fan of You Got The Look. My fav track of this style is So Far So Pleased. Oh yea and Future Baby Mama is one of the weakest ballads of the past ten years. Its pretty but just no. However I like the playful Mr. Goodnight. Chelsae Rogers is ok but its not one of the best to me.

This album ain't bad. It falls apart a bit with at the end, but I can't deny Prince is a prolific MOFO and has mastered every genre. I just don't think these songs go together too well. I don't think the same kind of person who would like "Guitar" would like "Mr. Goodnight."

Guitar

(Oh yeah)

Yeah
Uh uh

Gettin' dirty at the club again
Usually 'round your waist like a chain, but then
I got that call so I jumped in my car
I love U, baby, but not like I love my guitar
Uh uh ... not like I love my guitar ... no

U couldn't do it all by yourself
U had 2 go and get somebody else
U're high enough 2 call me but U can't reach the bar
I love U, baby, but not like I love my guitar
No ... not like I love my guitar
Oh, listen
Turn it up

Uh huh
Yeah, now dig it...

I tried 2 warn ya that it's hard 2 be a star
Especially when U're drivin' other peoples' car
Woulda gave U mine, girl, but U took it 2 far
I love U, baby, huh, just not like I love my guitar
Uh uh ... not like I love my guitar
Oh!

I know U love me and U wanna be friends
And if U don't at least U need 2 pretend
We're still 2gether even if we don't get that far
I love U, baby, but not like I love this guitar
(I love U, baby, I love U, baby)
(Not like I love my guitar)

I love U baby and I wish U well (I wish U well)
I'll write a letter when I learn how 2 spell
Until that day, U can go 2... {laugh}
I love U baby... U know the rest

Aah aah aah, whoo!

For me Planet Earth was a let down. But let me explain.

I was pretty stoked after Musicology and 3121. Both seemed to be Prince getting back to melody and some actually catchy songs. Now I appreciate both sides to him.. he experimental and the pop hits sides. But after what seemed like forever in experiments.. Raibow Children, One Nite Alone, The Live set (more rainbows), A disc of long funk jams, 3 albums worth of princified Jazz.. my interest was started to fade again. Then a friend had got his hands on Musicology a couple weeks in advance and I really liked it, and then got it for real when it hit the stores. While it's no masterpiece.. I kept hitting repeat on several songs. Then later 3121 came out and I loved it even more. A friend had clued me in that a new Prince track was on vh1. "Old Prince is back!!!". I saw Black Sweat and got so excited that he brought some electro-funk and a brand new dance called the "sssssstt...UNH!". I played that cd a LOTnot all perfect cd.. but the good stuff outweighed the couple so-so tracks.

Then I heard that free demo mix of Guitar. To this day I prefer the demo. Kinda interesting, a little more rock.. then I tossed it aside waiting for a new album.

Then the stories of PE coming out for free.. although it wouldnt be free in the states. I picked mine up day of release at Target. didnt even pre-download.

I played it through twice in about a day and a half. The opening track was quite a buzz kill. Save the world! Save your soul!.. My mind went to "yawn" before I was 2 minutes in. Then "Guitar". But first I thought "Holy crap! That's "I Will Follow!". I didn't like it that much. He took a simple tune and beat it to death with layers and layers again. But it still sounds plain and uninteresting mostly. But i did like how he added the "you know the rest" line.

From there on I forget the track order. "The One U Wanna C" was good, bouncy.. very much Baby Knows and Cream redux.. but fun still. I was mad that I had to go online or put the cd in itunes to actually see the titles.. which Resolution came up Revelation. being such a non-energetic tune I thought "wow wouldnt he have a much more exciting revelation?"

Mr Goodnight.. I like that one. the chimey bits remind me of old 80s quiet storm type songs i hear every now and then. Then the bit about his private jet and all that. Wait weren't we saving Planet Earth?

Chelsea Rodgers was the other highlight. I just cant help but feel like it didnt belong and should be on a Sheby J "solo" record as its more about her voice.

"All The Midnights" I couldnt even recall the tune if pressed to. Lion Of Judah.. too much religious subtext that didnt make a point. Prince striking his enemies down. Too bad those enemies are the ones with interest in your music. Next! And the same note intro as Purple Rain was such a tease that became nothing. ing former members on an uninspired track doesnt always make it inspired all of a sudden.

And the last part. The craptastic packaging. I love the 3d image dont get me wrong. But it falls apart the day you open it. and when the only difference between the free version and this is a plastic holder (that once the spindle breaks youre screwed).. thats a big ripoff.

It's one of the few times I felt like $10 was too much for an album. It would have been a better EP or something. Then the 2 year wait til Lotusflow3r... For me it was one of the worst periods of the decade as a fan.

What a crock of shit.

PE is miles better than both Musicology (bland) and 3121 (overrated).

I enjoyed this era. The album is definately one of his stronger 00's releases, although I could've lived without Mr Goodnight.

21 Nights was good fun as well. My only gripe with those shows were the tediously rigid and predictable setlists. It's not as if I was expecting him to come out and do All My Dreams, but a few more songs from the new album wouldn't have gone astray.

His weakest of the Musicology thru 20ten period overall because of its inconsistency. Some good tracks - Guitar, The One U Wanna C, Chelsea Rodgers, SHOE

And some of the most cringe-inducing moments of his career (Resolution.... Mr. Goodnight.....)

Somewhere Here On Earth

I know U're out there
I can feel your eyes on me
I've seen that face a thousand times
If only in my dreams

I know U really want me
I can feel your hands on me
I really wanna touch U, 2
In a way I'm much 2 shy 2 speak

And even though I'm all alone
4 what it's worth U're somewhere here on Earth
And I like it

I know U're out there
I can feel U getting closer 2 me
I'm just wondering what U're waiting 4
U know I am free

In this digital age — U could just page me
I know it's a rage, but it just don't engage me
Like the face 2 face ... U wanna do this at yours, or my place?

It's been so long since I been with somebody
Like a million years
But now U're here on Earth
U're here, U're here

Somewhere here on Earth
And I like it, I like it

Listen...
I know U hear me
Like a whisper in your ear
U don't have 2 fear me
U're everything I hold so dear

I know U already love me
U're probably just 2 cool 2 say
Somebody, somewhere put U down
But that's ok, that's ok

Cuz whatever U feel, it's time 2 heal
No, no more hurt as long as I'm here on Earth

ROLLING STONE

Prince Planet Earth (Sony)

"I love you, baby, but not like I love my guitar," Prince leers in "Guitar," between blasts of heroically pointless Edge-style soloing. It's his most slamming summer jam since "P Control" in the summer of '94, or "Alphabet St." in the summer of '88, or maybe "Delirious" in the summer of '83.

What did people do for fun in the summer before Prince? Planet Earth is one of those albums he makes when he's trying a little harder than usual, if not hard enough to alienate his core audience, which loves him for indulging himself.

" Planet Earth" and "Lion of Judah" continue the hard-rock groove, while "Future Baby Mama" and "Somewhere Here on Earth" revisit his smooth R&B side. As for "Guitar," he's decided to jack the post-punk revival, so he swipes a guitar riff from U2 ("I Will Follow") and a bass line from Duran Duran (the same song that provides his album title). Wily bastard

I never thought about the bassline sounding like "Planet Earth" by Duran Duran. It's funny because on their last tour they played 2 songs in a row to a sampled loop of the the Sign o' the Times beat and John Taylor played the bass line from Hot Thing (he even told me so at an afterparty himself! I was the cameraman on a local video interview, and managed to talk to him and Nick Rhodes about Prince lol )

Very cool stage, the only problem was it's position in the middle, which caused some sound issues. And the former npg members got the bad seats in the back...
The aftershows were cool. Indigo2 was a nice and easy location. Dancing on Prince funk in a small venue while sipping on cocktails cloud9 it's an experience I hope to have at least a few more times.

The One U Wanna C

Oh...

I know I ain't the first 2 tell ya
I sho' bet I won't be the last
I know U're in a hurry, baby
So let me make this fast
Do it...

CHORUS:
I've got a lotta money
I don't wanna spend it on me
I like pretty thangs — U're just as pretty as U can be
So if U ain't busy later
And U want some company
I ain't trying 2 be a hater
I'm the one... I'm the one...
The one U wanna C... U wanna C

Listen...
Look around U, baby
U know U seen it all before (Before)
Every nickel in this club lookin' 4 a dime
Nothing less, nothing more

2 tall 2 be talked down 2
(U're 2 tall 2 be talked down 2 — yeah yeah yeah)
2 over it 2 be put under (Any spell they could find)
Any spell the blind fishermen could cast
That's why I come like thunder 2 tell U...

I got a lotta money
But I don't wanna spend it on me
I like pretty thangs and U're just as pretty as U can be, oh, oh!
So if U ain't busy later
And U want some company
I ain't trying 2 be a hater
But I'm the one... I'm the one...
The one U wanna C... U wanna see
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah) {x4}
Hey

Oh, alright

U don't need 2 fix your hair
4 somebody U don't care 4
U don't need 2 shave your legs
If it ain't me that's knocking at your door, oh!

I know U ain't no concubine
I know U ain't a one night stand (One night stand)
I don't wanna waste your time
If U wanna get creamy...

I'm the one U wanna C (The one U wanna see)
Ooh, the one U wanna C baby (The one U wanna C)
Oh, the one U wanna C (The one U wanna C)
Wanna C, wanna C, baby please! (Please)

(I'm the one U wanna C) (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Talk with me, don't tease
(The one U wanna C) (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
U know I could bring a woman 2 her knees
(I'm the one U wanna C) (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
I'm the one, babe, U wanna C

Coming on U like thunder

Get down one time, get down 3 times
(I'm the one U wanna C)
Hey girl, daddy don't know

Na na na no no, oh!

Guitar" is the first single from Prince's 2007 album Planet Earth. This song was #39 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007.

The digital single was released in MP3 format through a partnership with Verizon Wireless, and O2. The music video for the song, featuring his current dancers "The Twinz" premiered on the Verizon website.

The song was released to radio stations on June 11, while the CD single format was released worldwide on July 9.

Although not as successful on the charts as many of his other songs, "Guitar" entered the Top 40 of the singles charts in four countries: Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, and Japan, where it peaked at #10 on the singles chart

As a taster for his 21 dates at the O2 arena in August, Prince played a two-hour, late-night secret show at the 1,500-capacity Koko in London last night.

Superbly backed by a new line-up for the New Power Generation, which included two Beyoncés-lookalike dancing twins, singer Shelby Johnson and a horn section featuring Maceo Parker, it was a performance few of the people lucky enough to squeeze into the Camden venue will forget.

Coming on stage at midnight, he teased us with "So many hits, so little time". Punctuated by solo turns by Parker and Johnson, the 20-number set included Kiss, Nothing Compares to U, Girls and Boys, Musicology, and ripped-up versions of U Got the Look and the Hendrix-inspired Let's Go Crazy. As well as a broad sweep of his back catalogue, including tracks from last year's 3121 album, there were covers of Play that Funky Music, Amy Winehouse's Love is a Losin' Game and Gnarls Barkley's Crazy.

During one extended jam, Prince disappeared from view and emerged in the middle of the audience on the first floor balcony, grabbing a handful of fans to join him on stage. It all proved too much for one girl, who leapt on the singer and attempted to straddle him as he lay on the stage before being hauled away by security.

Doubtless she was carried away by the sheer hedonistic euphoria, generated not only by the man himself, who even at the age of 48 did nothing to belie his status as music's supreme performer, but also by an ecstatic audience.

"You give me the energy to do this", he told us. "At the O2 we're gonna turn that thang out. They're gonna be the best shows you've ever seen." You better believe it.

Some songs I can stand but are pretty forgetable (Planet Earths, SHOE, Future Baby Mama, Guitar), the rest is utter crap, and Chelsea Rigers is hardly a Prince song, more a Shelby song.

The concerts and aftershows were great.

The book is a huge waste of money and opportunity, the CD is nice - enjoyed it.

I fear that Musicology was the start of making less fascinating CD's as an excuse to get a good money deal, and then do a series of concerts to further cash in. It's great that he treats us to nice concerts but a real shame that most new material is so uneventful, even to him, that it hardly ever makes the playlist. Let's hope he finds a more interesting way of distributing his music and will be a bit more critical as to what ends up on the disc.

I loved SHOE and Chelsea Rodgers.

"Sitting on the floor of an all-white room feeling like the color blue" -I love that line in Lion of Judah, but I always seem to want to change the song after that line.

The star will perform for 21 nights, kicking off with seven shows at the 02 Arena on August 1, 3, 4, 7, 10, 11 and 14.

Tickets for what is being billed as the Earth Tour go on sale at 9am on Friday (May 11).

The other shows will be announced at a later date.

The ticket price of £31.21 will also include a copy of Prince’s as-yet-untitled new album.

Speaking at a press conference in London today (May 8), Prince said he and his band had rehearsed 150 songs for the dates, the only European shows he will perform this year.

He also revealed his wish for Amy Winehouse to join him onstage for a version of her track ‘Love Is A Losing Game’.

Prince also said that after the shows he was going to take time off to travel and study The Bible. He also revealed he’s been house-hunting in London, and added: “I really like Earl's Court , but I can’t live there!”

Chinawhite Nightclub

6 Air Street, W1B 5AA, Central London, UK

Chinawhite is one the most prestigious clubs in Central London. The nightclub is famous for the VIP guests and celebrities including Prince Harry and many others. Special parties, a glamorous atmosphere, shows and many surprises for one of the sexiest crowds in town.

Taking a break from his 21 day London tour, Prince visited the infamous China White nightclub. Word on the street is that Prince refused to leave the nightclub until he was covered from London's torrential rain by TWO umbrella's. Prince Fools Media At Super Bowl Press Conference

Prince, who is known for not giving interviews to the media did the unthinkable on Thursday in Miami Beach. He told a crowd of reporters he would take their questions regarding his half-time show during this year's Super Bowl. But the fact that he had his whole band and back-up dancers in position and with their instruments on should have been a dead giveaway that Prince had a trick up his sleave. When the first reporter opened his mouth to ask a question, Prince and the band set off a three song jam session, giving fans a preview of what to expect. His purple majesty wasn't the only famous face present at the media event. Billy Joel and the Cirque Du Soleil performers were also there. Joel, however, focused on a more traditional type of press conference, giving the media his thoughts on singing the national anthem.Later in the evening Chopper 4 captured images of the dress rehearsal held by Prince at Dolphin Stadium, set atop a stage shaped like the symbol he's been using as a moniker for years.

That was one awesome summer in London - literally right in my backyard!

I'm sure aside from the final night (which was always gonna be a banger) - The August 28th Aftershow was unquestionably LEGENDARY.

Such a shame about the albums disbelief

Somewhere Here On Earth

I know U're out there
I can feel your eyes on me
I've seen that face a thousand times
If only in my dreams

I know U really want me
I can feel your hands on me
I really wanna touch U, 2
In a way I'm much 2 shy 2 speak

And even though I'm all alone
4 what it's worth U're somewhere here on Earth
And I like it

I know U're out there
I can feel U getting closer 2 me
I'm just wondering what U're waiting 4
U know I am free

In this digital age — U could just page me
I know it's a rage, but it just don't engage me
Like the face 2 face ... U wanna do this at yours, or my place?

It's been so long since I been with somebody
Like a million years
But now U're here on Earth
U're here, U're here

Somewhere here on Earth
And I like it, I like it

Listen...
I know U hear me
Like a whisper in your ear
U don't have 2 fear me
U're everything I hold so dear

I know U already love me
U're probably just 2 cool 2 say
Somebody, somewhere put U down
But that's ok, that's ok

Cuz whatever U feel, it's time 2 heal
No, no more hurt as long as I'm here on Earth

I know, I know a lot of fans didn't care for them but they just added a bit of Uptown 2 Prince. I will always be used to Prince around sexy women. I won't say anything about the singers he has now.

Future Baby Mama

Oh yeah
Hey, hey
(Future baby mama)

I've heard it said my lovers look alike
Could it be that I was lookin' 4 U?
They were cool but something wasn't right
They had me fooled 4 a minute and then I saw the truth

CHORUS:
None of them got what it takes 2 be a future baby mama
Gotta bend in the wind, but don't break 2 keep your man
Show me one of them and I'll make her mine with no more drama
Future baby mama

I've heard it said that I won't treat U right
(U know that ain't right)
But they ain't sure cuz they don't know nothing about U
(U know U want me, baby)
U're 2 secure 2 ever wanna fuss and fight
(That's right)
That's why your man never ever got a reason 2 doubt U

None of them got what it takes (Got what it takes)
2 be a future baby mama
Bend in the wind, but don't break (U gotta bend, U got 2 bend, no)
2 keep your man (Hey hey hey hey)
Show me one of them and I'll make her mine
With no more drama (No more drama)
Future baby mama

Yeah, I know U might be fine but I seen it all before
Cinderella was a waste of time then oops, she's out the door
2 build a house 2gether, the thing that matters most (Matters most)
Is under the floor ... a strong foundation that lasts 4ever more

I want 2 make U happy, baby
(Oh yes)
Happier than happy itself
(Oh yes)
U know what?
If U ever need a hand, call me, I'll help (Call me, call me, call me)
Cuz I got U, wherever U wanna go, mm-hmm
(Oh yes)
Paris, London, Africa, San Lucas, Mexico
U see, I know what U want
(I know ) {x2}
What every good woman wants
A man so in love with U
He can't help but 2 flaunt U
Deep down I know what U want
U want your girlfriends 2 hate U
(Oh yes)
Cuz they can't get your man

CHORUS
(They ain't got what it takes, baby, no, no)
(Like the wind, like the wind)
(Show me 1 of them and I'll make her mine)
(No more drama)
(Future baby mama) {repeated}
(Mama) {repeated}

Uh-huh
Now what U wanna do?

Mr. Goodnight

Mister, mister
I love U, mister

Come on

CHORUS: {different backgrounds in each}
Call Mr. Goodnight
He'll make U feel alright (What what?)
Make U throw your head back and holla
It's so nice, so nice (That's right)
Better not tell your girlfriend (Don't do it)
U can try with all your might (3121) (All your might)
Just can't keep a secret
About goodnight, goodnight

Hey, baby, hey baby, hey, baby, sittin' all alone in my courtyard
Lookin' as if U had every right
All over the world they call me "Prince"
But U can call me "Mr. Goodnight"
Surely the dandies that escort U places
Imparted a rumor or 2
About the parade of lovely faces
That follow me, surely they do
What say U 2 that, with lips so inviting
It's all I can do not 2 stare
What say U 2 them, past, present and future
That U don't care? (Yeah, I don't care)
If so, U'll be the first, and I'll give U the keys
2 the whip of your dreams, alright? (Alright)
All over the world they call me "Prince" (Yeah)
But U can call me "Mr. Goodnight"

Call Mr. Goodnight
He'll make U feel alright (Alright)
Make U throw your head back and holla (Yeah)
It's so nice, so nice
Better not tell your girlfriend
U can try with all your might (Better not)
U just can't keep a secret
About goodnight, goodnight

Now I don't wanna put 2 U 2 sleep
With a bunch of chatter and a rap that really don't matter (No)
But now that U know who I am U need 2 make plans
And all your other pennies should scatter (Scatter)
A limousine about 2 pick U up and then take U 2 a private jet (G-5) (Yeah)
And there U're gonna meet a little Spanish man
Who will offer U wine or Moet
In a hour or 2, U'll be taken 2 a suite that will rival your wildest dreams
And on the bed 3 dresses 2 choose one, pick one
Then U get a call from me (Br-r-r-ring)
Tell me which dress U chose so I can put on, put on
My matching suit
All the real dimes throw your hands up
U know how Mr. Goodnight do

CHORUS
(Call him)
(Alright)
(Come on, come on) (I don't want nobody else)
(Think he won't?)
(Don't do it)
(3121)

I love U, baby
I don't want nobody else

Call Mr. Goodnight (U can call him any time at all)
Call Mr. Goodnight (Yeah, yeah, yeah) (I love U, mister)

MP3: Mike Philly in the band got jams at midnight (Hey)
Before the main attraction, U see
Slow it down — "Somewhere Here On Earth"
Just 2 check how your reaction be
And if your heartbeat goes up a notch or 2
There ain't no telling what I might do
But I got a mind full of good intentions (Uh oh)
And a mouth full of Raisinets (Better not tell U...)
We can watch 'Chocolat' on the big screen
Before we convene in the pool (Yeah)
The waterfall'll wash your cares away
Already I love U, I do

CHORUS
(Mister Mister)
(So nice)
(Mr. Goodnight)

The energy in this field's been known 2 flicker lights, a'ight?
A symphony with no rest, acapella moans and a bridge of sighs, ooh, goodnight (Call, call)
Undeterred nevertheless a masterpiece on butterscotch thighs (Call me, call me)
Turn off the lights, turn off the lights (Yeah)
It's time 4 Mr. Goodnight

All the Midnights In The World

Because I turn my eye toward U
Because I seek your hand
Every other woman envies U
And me, every other man

Alas the circle of jealousy is coming 'round again
Those prickly-fingered scallywags that masquerade as friends
Make a promise this very night that they will no longer pose
A threat 2 either one of us then let the chapter close

4 all the midnights in the world
This one will serve us better if U choose 2 be my girl

Like Zuzu's petals a wonderful life, the 2 of us shall lead (Zuzu's petals, wonderful life)
The children of the future with all the spiritual food they need
The secrets that the ones before with grace, have come and shown
2gether with love 4 one another we shall make them known

The number of our happy days outnumber the grains of sand
That and 12 times ever more if I could be your man
Amethyst and rubies, crystals and black pearls (Black pearls)
I'd trade them all, just 2 spend with U all the midnights in the world

All the midnights in the world
