Today I decided to buy some clothes for my nephew's b-day , so I went to the local mall, I was walking through when I started listening to the song that was playing, Diamonds and Pearls!

It definately made my day.......

HEY EVERYBODY!

I don't mean to one up your thread here, but I was just clipping my toenails and out of nowhere I started humming DMSR! It wasn't even on the radio or anything!!!!

Holy sh*t! Can you guys believe it? D.M.S.R. just came right into my head and knocked me over. I don't even know how I'm typing this right now.

It was just a reminder for those who don't believe the org is mainly full of nonsense.

One of these days bandwidth won't be enough to post something really interesting because the site is full of threads about someone hearing something somewhere.

But now that we're at it, I'd be happy if you gave me a valid reason why posting that should make someone happy and why can that be of ANY interest to anybody.

I've heard When Doves Cry and Diamonds and Pearls at Whole Foods Market, not in the same day though. I must admit, I hardly ever listen to the faint grocery market background music, but when Prince comes on I tune in immediately to it .

OK. You know how sometimes when you're nervous and you need the org to take your mind off of events that are on your mind? I'm in that zone with no booze...yet, so I'm going to post.

This past Saturday I took my son to see the new Shrek movie. We bought refreshments (too damned expensive!) from a nice guy who asked me if I was from out of town. He didn't detect a southern accent from me. I asked where he was from and you guessed it, Minneapolis. St Paul to be exact. Of course, I had to let him know I was a Prince fan, and thank God there was a long line behind us or I probably would've been chatting for "awhile". This has nothing to do with a cool Prince moment today, but I have to do something until the Coco Lopez arrives!

It is sort of funny how that happens actually. I get too distracted with music to try and focus on it in a store or in public like that. But I can hear a Prince song, and it's like a fridge blowing a circuit. My brain sparks and smoke shoots out of my ears; like a homing device just activated. "MUST. LISTEN. TO. PRINCE. SONG."

That is weird when I got in my car a Prince song was playing. Then another and another!

My sory is from many years ago. I was in a store and a song was playing it was a Prince song, a Christmas Prince song. I had NO IDEA the song existed. And I had all of his other B-sides. Somehow I missed it. A few days later I got my hands on the 7" then soon after the 12".
