1999 was the beginning but Little Red Corvette hooked me. I remember lip syncing in my room singing the songs as "feel the red corvette."

I'm pretty sure it was WDC b/c of the music video. I thought he was so cool on that motorcycle, now when I watch it it's almost silly, but in a good way.

I remember it being on a K-Tel album. When I was in the sixth grade, a girl brought a K-Tel album to school that included "I Wanna Be Your Lover" on Music Day. Does your's also have "The Second Time Around" by Shalamar and "Knock On Wood" by Amii Stewart? I think those tracks were on her's.

I used to have a K-Tel album myself a few years later that included "Controversy". Also on that album was....

Give It To Me Baby - Rick James
Let It Whip - The Dazz Band
A Night To Remember - Shalamar

Besides all the obvious reasons I already gave you, I also like the thought of knowing that a woman cares about her vagina and spends time on her to make it look and feel good for herself and others.

Little Red Corvette. I was 5 in 83, and I dug that song. There were a few years after that where I kind of thought he was weird and strange, but the Batman soundtrack lured me back in, and I've been a fan ever since.
