I was just singing along to How Come You Don't You Call Me Anymore when I realized what a major vocal workout that song is.
I'm not kidding man that song is like an emotional roller coaster rampage for your larynx.


What do you think is his hardest song to sing?

I think live, Prince makes them all hard to sing. His many vocal embellishments live require much more lung power and control. He's a master at it.

I can only compare it to one other singer and song. Angel Eyes/Ill never let you Go.. By SteelHeart. Listen to the last scream on that song and then listen to the last scream on Endorphine Machine. AMAZING!

Yeah, I'm an alto female who used to be able to adequately sing Prince's falsetto, as well as Streisand, but not any more! Age has a way of cracking vocal chords! For those of us who are "older" though, they should have a competition show like American Idol--because there are many over 30 who can really sing and put on a show! For me, I would just like to hit the falsetto notes I used to for Prince, Earth, Wind, and Fire, etc!
