Dead On It Guitar Part

Hey y'all,

I was messin round on my guitar today and I remembered that Dead On it has a really great little line. I sat down with the recording, but couldn't seem to work out the voicing for the first little scratch before that chromatically ascending single note line. Can any of you axe-men (and ladies) help out?

It's the bit in the chorus...
